last few hours of vacation....
1. On the road today, we saw an SUV with two type-written signs on the windows. One said, "Impeach Bush." Okay, I get that one (although isn't impeachment a non-issue at this point in the game?). The other said, "Excorsize Cheney." That one I'm a little more unclear on.
2. We were almost reverse t-boned today pulling out the of the parking lot at Half Price in Maplewood. Kris was driving and had almost completed backing out of the spot (he was very nearly perpendicular with the spot we had just vacated), when the person on the opposite side of the lane and about one spot over began backing out. And continued to back up. And continued to back up. Kris laid on the horn for a good 15-20 seconds before the moron realized what was up. Then we left and I flipped her off. Strangely, the person in the passenger seat looked at us as if to say, "Who is honking and why?" Sigh.
3. I almost purchased the Batman version of UNO today while at Half Price. I decided I didn't need it, even if it was 20% off.
4. To Renee and Derek: Have a good day at school tomorrow! I'd be proud to have either of you teach my kid! :)
5. T-minus 12 minutes until the two hour Prison Break premiere! Tomorrow is the season premiere of the last season of The Shield. Then Wednesday is ANTM. I'll need something fluffy after Prison Break and The Shield! PS If you haven't seen The Shield, you need to. You will not be disappointed.
