Our Filipino teacher, Mrs. Mercedita Sanchez, has been recently diagnosed with cancer. She has already been operated on, but she needs further treatment in order to get well. At this point, she really needs all our financial help and prayers, and I think that she would appreciate it if we come together as one Pisay community and help her out.
I have been in touch with Mrs. Aguila of the Filipino Department, and she has said that Pisay is receiving donations for Mrs. Sanchez. If you wish to donate, please contact me at 0917-8878522 so I can make arrangements. In the interest of transparency and accountability, I would be giving updates on the donations I receive.
I hope we make it as our chance to say thanks to someone who has made an impact on our lives back in Pisay. Thanks!
