Bah, thank you :3 I'm applying for UCL this December for next year, but one thing I don't understand really is this whole "first, second and third" term. xD When does things occur? XD Like, in Canada, we have fall term and winter term, and then if you want to go, summer term (But nobody does unless they need to xD). So is third term like summer term? :\ Or something else entirely?
Oh ours is like first term is September/October-December, then second term is January - Easter normally, and then third's after that, normally finishing at like the beginning of june - normally short but full of examssss D8
So the third is like O______o... exam time? So you don't do exams in both terms at the end of each terms, but you have an entire term dedicated to it? O_o XD I'm just trying to think how this would work if I went for only one term or not xD
Oh you have like module exams all through the terms and then a big one at the end of each term, but then there's like final bits and employability things in the third normally, IDK :/
Like with ours we're doing four modules now, and I had midterms two weeks ago and another lot next week, and then final exams for these modules at the end of december (or poss at the beginning of january I'm not sure)
Ahhh. :\ So if the finals were for employability purposes I suppose as a Canadian it wouldn't matter if I was employable or not? XD -facepalm- I'll definitely ask, because right now I have no clue in hell XD
Hahah yeah I'd ask if I were you, IDK how it works at UCL, really, it could be really weird like at Oxford where all of the exams are at the end of the year and you have to come into them dressed in a suit with that stupid hat and put the stupid hat on the desk but you mustn't wear it or forget it or you'll be fined £50 :|
