"At Least One Shoe" at the Minnesota Fringe Festival!

Aug 04, 2005 14:37

It's time I was a-pimpin' my show. Well, honestly, it's far past time, but I worked 11-hour days last week and didn't have time to buy a pimp hat.

At Least One Shoe

Presented by LaLa Enterprises

As part of the Minnesota Fringe Festival

Crash! Bang! Boom! Pow? Probably not.

We do, however, guarantee a couple of laughs, true stories dressed in vivid description, and at least one shoe.

Revel! with Lane McKiernan (a.k.a. riverrocks), drink a grape soda, and discover that bastion of culture that is...the Columbus Museum of Art?

Learn! with Katherine Glover (a.k.a. viajes) as she teaches a beginners English class to foreigners - without understanding a word of Somali, Amharic, or Vietnamese!

Dive! with Eli Jean Weintraub (meee! meeee!) into the murky depths of family relations when a recently-widowed man turns 60 and spills all the dirt to his dyke niece.

Quest! with Hortense MacLeod, journeying from yogis to New Age authors to the builders of bomb shelters to figure out just what planet you're from, anyway.

All performances are at Intermedia Arts, 2822 Lyndale Ave S., Minneapolis
