This weekend leorathesane taught me how to crochet. I have half a hat that I'll probably finish tonight. She's making the exact same hat, to show me how it's done. At one point, we were sitting side-by-side on the couch, not saying much, crocheting our identical hats, & I thought, "My gods, we've aged 40 years in one weekend!" But it's fun, and it gives me something to do with my hands other than smoke or eat chocolate, so it works out in the end.
