First of all, how funny is it that the lj spell checker doesn't recognize 'lj'?
La fiesta de viajes with PF & Arthur was damned fun. Saw eyv for a whole three & a half seconds. Good to see you, man! Watching PF & Arthur get tipsy together was soooo much fun & made me feel very good about the whole is-everyone-getting-along thing. And we were all so proud of ourselves for carrying on so many odd conversations with total strangers (& some of them were very odd conversations, indeed). Then the 3 of us headed back to my place to watch Jeffrey, which I guess is to our group what Ravenous is to PF's posse. Can I do this, or do I look like some sort of gay superhero?
The party for Donovan was, well, old school. More liquor than you can shake a drunk at; so many cigarettes you could develop lung cancer just from the second-hand smoke; large, writhing pile-ups of humanity on various pieces of furniture. At some point, Max & I - in a touching & poignant bonding moment over being 'the sober ones' - had a long & rather freakish conversation about the British royal family. The Prince of Wales categorically denies the allegations, whatever the hell they are....
I should be working on No Refunds stuff, but I simply cannot bring myself to give a damn about it right now.
