Vacations, I think, are among life's necessities. Even if you can't go far, or long, just getting away for a while is truly a boon.
Accordingly, on Sunday afternoon,
Leora and I loaded bulging panniers onto our bikes and rode seven miles along historic, tree-lined Summit Avenue to
Cathedral Hill Bed and Breakfast, where we bedded and breakfasted for two nights and two mornings. We heartily recommend this B&B to anyone and everyone.
We also explored, both a pied and a vélo, the Cathedral Hill neighborhood, stopping periodically along the way to write (me), paint (Leora), and take pictures (both). My photos are currently unavailable, due to the current nonfunctioning condition of my computer, but Leora's already posted two
lovely galleries of her images.
We have returned home once more and are hard at work getting the house ready for this weekend's
LoLa art crawl, in which Leora is a participating artist (and at which we hope to see many of you local sorts).
An exquisite adventure all 'round.
