Listen, I'm a feminist. I believe in women; I believe in the intelligence of women. I want to believe that the voting women of America understand that, while having our first-ever female VP would be super-nifty-neato-keen, getting her there by having John McCain as president is far, far too high a price to pay.
I want with all my heart to believe this. So why do I suddenly feel so very nervous?
