Yeah, I'm spammy today. Can you tell there's nothin' much doin' at work?
So I bought this black long-sleeved t-shirt at Target a few months back. I probably spent all of 8 bucks on it. This weekend I crocheted up a couple wristlets for it and sewed 'em to the cuff. I can't find a picture of the yarn I used; it's a Jo-Ann Sensations number that's a black eyelash strand twined with a pink and yellow eyelet strand. Some of the fussiest yarn I've ever worked with. It's similar to the black Peacock yarn in
this picture.
Anyway, if we ignore the time I spent frogging and redoing said cuffs, I spent about an hour on the whole endeavor. And yet I have received more compliments on this shirt than on any other piece of clothing I have ever worn to work. 3 people, when they found out I made the cuffs, have told me I should be selling these shirts.
Are my co-workers just that easily impressed, or could I actually be on to something here?
