BECAUSE WE CAN-CAN-CAN-CAN CAAAAANNNNN!!!!
I went for a walk today, and listened to Pottercast while I walked. I decided to go to the same park I listened to Webcomics Weekly at, and sit in the shade. Well, I looked at my mp3 player and noticed that it took 26 minutes to walk there. This meant that it would take 26 minutes to walk back, naturally. I timed my leaving time(10 minutes at park) so that the show would end right as I got to my front door. My timing was perfect.
Yesterday when I went for a walk with the Webcomics Weekly podcast, the podcast ended while I was down town. So, I filled the rest of the time with foreign Disney songs. I always keep SOMETHING extra on my mp3 player in case I’m out longer than I expected. When Mugglecast had their 12-hour podcast a little over a week ago, I went for a nice 3-hour walk and got that podcast pretty well started. I still have 1 and a half hours of that remaining to listen to. Since that time, they’ve released two more podcasts. I’m still catching up.
I’ve now added a link to Webcomics Weekly to the Garrett’s Sketchbook sidebar because it’s awesome and comic-related. Four full-time webcartoonists talk about the business and give some great tips for other webcartoonists, and they’re constantly learning from each other as well.
The subject is simply because the Pottercast peeps love to play that whenever appropriate, because Horace Slughorn will be played by the big guy in Moulin Rouge. I like it.
