Oh Philly, you trickster you.
I had a 4 hour long doctor's appointment this morning. I showed up early, I had an appointment, god only know what took so long. At one point I was just in one of those stupid paper gowns for an hour before anyone came into my exam room.
I'm not a patient person when it comes to these types of things.
The Airport:
On my way to the family reunion last Friday morning at 6 a.m., I waited for 3 hours for a one hour flight. Not because of any weather issues or reasonable things. Because USAir seems to lack the idea that putting one hundred plus people in a plane and them making them wait for an hour plus to take off is stupid. Not to mention the line debauckle caused by United who sold me my ticket, sending me to the wrong USAir line, and by the time I finally got taken care of it had been 2 hours total of waiting in all the lines.
The way back seemed to go just fine. No ticket line issues, no security line issues, then -- I got to the gate. We waited for 2 hours for a plane that didn't depart from where it was coming from until the time that we were supposed to have left.
If I can avoid it I'm never flying USAir again. Southwest is much better.
Incase you were wondering I finished HP and the DH last night.. I feel slightly jaded but all in all it was pretty good.
