As always...it's been awhile....

First things first:

Lauren, my computer won't let me comment on your page, but DON'T get rid of the Rent poster. Just roll it up and keep it for the fond memories you'll have when you see it again!

Well, I haven't posted since I found out I was pregnant, so I guess 16 weeks along would be a good time to start. I feel pretty normal, just a little extra tired, and although my belly is getting big, it's not in the way yet. I've heard the little ones' heartbeat twice, but no ultrasound or movement yet. I'm hoping that I will feel more connected with it once I can see him or her on June 9th, and when I feel movement.

I kinda scared Jeff at a wedding that we went to Saturday night. It was a full mass Catholic wedding, and we were standing up for the Gospel. Well I had a funny feeling in my stomach (I thought I was about to have potty problems), and then I started seeing stars. Next I leaned over to Jeff and said "I don't feel good, I'm really dizzy". About that time, I completely blacked out. I timed it PERFECT because it was just as everyone else was sitting down. Jeff said I started falling back and my head/jaw dropped, so he put his arm around me and lowered me down while holding my head. He's guessing I was out for about 5-10 secs cause the first thing I remember is him saying "did you black out?" Anyways I just sat there for a few minutes with my eyes closed to rest, and started sweating pretty bad. I was fine though. I did have to go in to give blood yesterday anyway, and Doc said that it's very common for pregnant women to pass out in church. I had a drop in blood pressure, and maybe locked my knees too. Crazy! It's never happened before. Doc says I'm fine as long as I don't hit my head or belly really hard.

Other news...hmmm....We had an arbor built over the back patio and bought some patio furniture. I'm pretty excited!!! Slowly but surely were getting the things we want. On my list now is bedroom furniture, a kitchen table, and a backsplash in the kitchen. Baby furniture too of course, and it will be next. I'm guessing we'll be ready to move by the time we have the house the way we want it.

EdFinancial will be paid off in June!!! Yay!!! Next on the list we have to pay off Jeff's truck (appx 12-18 months), then all the money we owe Jeff's Dad, and THEN I get a new car!!! Woo Hoo! Hopefully the Santa Fe will last about 2-3 more years. It'll be about 9 or 10 yrs old by then, and I already have 110K miles on it.

Hank is good. I'm not sure that he started to calm down at 1 yr old though. Hopefully by Nov. he'll be calm enough for a baby, or he may become an outside dog and just sleep inside at night.

Jeff and I have a pretty busy summer. 3 weddings, a triathalon, a huge family reunion, I'm giving a baby shower, Wicked at the Orpheum, several out-of-town guests staying the night, and hopefully a trip to see Emily before her wedding in October, and to see Jenny in Knoxville for a wedding shower since I can't be in her wedding. It'll be August by then, and I'll be starting my 3rd trimester. Hopefully I'll feel up to everything and will still fit behind the steering wheel.

That's enough for now. I'll check in later.
