My Mom's brother, Uncle Steve, flew in today. He's really nice and funny, so I'm glad to have him here. ^_^ It's hard to believe he's over 40, he feels so youthful to me. Well, that and he doesn't have any grey hair.
We took him to Celestial Seasonings after his flight. I really love that place. It's so nice to get tea and everything. I was pretty tired afterwards, though, I kept dozing off in the car and after we got home I dozed off again on the couch. I'm still a little tired.
Tomorrow we're going to Estes Park...not the former Six Flags amusement park, the actual mountain-y area park. We're leaving at 6:30am and it sounds like we'll be there for most of the day, which I'm not too thrilled about, but...I'm not going to say "no, I won't go." I'm off school now (Monday was my last day) so it's not like I can't enjoy myself. I know I'd regret it if I didn't go.
I'm not really looking forward to hiking everywhere, though. My legs have felt like they were going to go to sleep all day. It's sort of weird. They're sort of tingle-y and a little numb, but not really? I guess that means I'm not getting very good circulation in my legs or something?
I finally got around to starting my new character on Poly today.
Maya Fey from the Phoenix Wright series. (Please tell me I'm not the only one that knows and loves these games? I think all of my Polyite friends aren't familiar with the fandom at all. XD;;) I surprised myself, I think she actually is acting pretty IC, which makes me relieved. I think I'll play Phoenix Wright:Justice For All during the car trip tomorrow to help refresh my memory on what she's like a little more. I need to beat it, anyway.
I feel in the mood to either write or read Autor/Rue fanfiction, but I'm still feeling a little tired. I'm frustrated with the challenge, it seems like I've hit a bit of a slump on it. Which REALLY isn't good--I need to finish up the Autor challenge so I can start up on the Fakir challenge and finish it in time for Anime NEXT (assuming that I get to go) so I can give it to Chris Patton.
I'll have to force myself to do it after Uncle Steve leaves, whether I feel like it or not. Maybe I'll take a notebook with me tomorrow and make note of tomorrow's theme...
