So....the Xbox 360. I heard from our manager that we had 44 Xboxes at Target today, and we were sold out of all of them before I even started working there. So, it's doing well so far, appearantly.
Truthfully, though...and I apologize to the Xbox fans who read my journal (I'm not hatin', I swear!)...I really, really am not at all interested in buying one at this point in time. There are only two games that've launched for it right now that I'm even vaguely interested: Perfect Dark Zero, and Kameo. (Yeah, yeah, I know I say I don't like shooters. I like a few, just not many.)
Buuuut....I've heard that Perfect Dark Zero is a little disappointing compaired to the original Perfect Dark (which was on the n64, before Rare betrayed us. Yes. Betrayed. Totally betrayed. Nintendo fans were loyal. We were. But nooo...), and Kameo...well, I mean, it looks cool, but it's not enough to sell me on a console.
Anyway, even if I did want one, I don't have the money. ^^; But...I don't know. The console itself is probably the coolest-looking one of this generation (see, I can say nice things about it), but...I don't particularly care about all the extra features it has...and...graphics aren't what sell me on a console (although let the record show that the Gamecube's Graphics beats the PS2, which, I have to admit, IS one of the reasons why I'm still more of a Nintendo fan than a Sony fan...Xbox's graphics are WAAAY better than either's, though). And...since the controller for the 360 is so similar to the original, I probably won't like it. The controller always felt very bulky to me. (Of course, it still looks prettier than the sony-ma-rangs we're getting as controllers for the PS3, and it's less confusing than the Rev's...)
but...yeah. I'm just not swept up in the hype.
Anyway...enough Nintendo fangirling. MEMES. I got this one from Kisa. Kittycrystal. I'm too lazy to go find the code that lets me link to her journal...anyway, it is t3h meme...of....SEVENS!

4. Someone that I feel like I can trust. This is important...and not as easy as it sounds.
5. Shy...it's cute. XD
6. Someone who's creative...at least enough that it doesn't seem 'weird' to me that I have a whole world in my head and my characters sometimes seem 'real' to me. (not that I think they're real, I'm not THAT crazy)
7. A good listener...I talk a lot, so it'll have to be someone who can put up with it...XD
