^^ My party was fun yesterday! XD I'm too lazy to type about it again, so here's bits and pieces of what I told Max about it (my AIM name has been edited out because it's one I don't use with everyone, and some random chit-chat has been removed...spelling fixed...etc):
Max (8:23:45 AM): So, how was the party?
Max (8:23:55 AM): *Poke* *poke*
Haley (8:24:06 AM): Hee. XD It actually went really well, I was glad.
Max (8:24:22 AM): I want to know eeeeverything
Max (8:24:25 AM): XD
Haley (8:24:34 AM): XD Okay, shall I start from the beginning?
Max (8:24:53 AM): Just tell me what you want, XD
Haley (8:25:59 AM): What I want? XD What do you mean?
Max (8:27:17 AM): I just meant start from where you want.
Haley (8:27:41 AM): I see. XD Okay.
Haley (8:29:07 AM): Hm...well, we bought the decorations yesterday, early afternoon....black and white streamers, black and white balloons, a white table cloth (for the food table) and black star confetti (for the food table once again).
It was really windy yesterday, though, so one of the balloons flew away when we were taking them from the store...XD
Max (8:30:40 AM): Lol
Haley (8:31:19 AM): but it worked out fine, the food table just only got one balloon. XD
So, we went over to the lease office about an hour before the party was supposed to start to start setting up decorations and so I could put on my dress and makeup there (and not have to walk home in the dress...XD)
Then, Jamie, Elizabeth S, Hannah A and Mary Beth arrived about a half-hour early (they weren't sure how long it would take them to find the apartments). So, they're like "We'll help you decorate!!"
Max (8:31:50 AM): Hmm hmm.
Haley (8:32:29 AM): So mom just kind of handed them some streamers and said "Okay, do whatever you want..."
They did awesome. XD They did this neat decoration over the fireplace, and put bows on the back of the chairs...all sorts of stuff. It looked much better than we had planned.
Max (8:33:17 AM): `...XD
Haley (8:35:51 AM): Yeah, the girls at my old church are really creative. XDXD
So, Elizabeth H arrived about the time when the party was supposed to start, and Hannah S., Janelle, Caleb and Kisa and Kendal arrived soon after that. We all sort of just hanged out and chatted for a bit (I think I mostly talked to Kisa and Kendall, because I was worried they might feel left out since they were the only ones there not from my old church), and then at about 7:30 we started a game of Disney Scene It. ^^
Max (8:37:38 AM): I don't know that game.
Haley (8:38:03 AM): We were going to do Turner Classic Movies Scene It, but we couldn't find it ANYWHERE. ^^; So, we decided "Well...Disney's sorta classic..."
Jeremy's team won. :P If I remember right...let's see...it was Jer, Elizabeth S, Todd, and...I think Hannah S who won. So they each got to pick out a DVD we got at Target ($1 DVDs O.o) that had some sort of classic theme. I'm not sure which ones they picked, although I think I remember Beth Santee getting a John Wayne one...
Oh! The game! I'll explain it to you. ^^
Haley (8:41:31 AM): You see...it's a board game that uses the DVD player. It's similar to Trivial Pursuit in that it's a trivia game...you go around the board, answering questions like...say...."What country is Robin Hood, 101 Dalmations, and [I...forget the other movie] set?" or... "Which Disney heroine sings 'In A World of My Own'?" or....something like that. Then, two of the catagories of questions use the DVD player to ask the question--'All Play', where anyone can try to win no matter what team you're on (if you beat the rolling team, you stop them from continuing on with their turn and get to move forward one space), and 'My Play' where just the player/team can guess the answer. (Normally, My Play has a clip and then asks you a question about it, like..."Where is Lilo and Stitch set?")
Haley (8:50:22 AM): Oh, then we had snacks and desert. ^^ It was yummeh...Mom made some AWESOME black and white food. Ranch dip with blue corn chips (they're almost black XD), a black bean and white corn dip with white corn chips, brownies with powdered sugar, ice cream with black and white toppings, chocolate chip cheese cake...it was great. ^^
Haley (8:59:43 AM): Okay. XD So...let's see...Oh! We only had small tables there, so I think I sat with...um...I think it was both Hannahs, Mary Beth, Elizabeth Hutchings and Janelle.
That meant Kisa and Kendall had to sit with other people...but i think they did pretty well. Kisa seemed to be talking a lot, I think. XD At one point she shouted over to my table "Haley! When did we first meet IRL?" so I think they must've asked her how we got to know each other. XD
Max (9:00:26 AM): Lol
Haley (9:04:00 AM): So...let's see...after we ate, we opened presents. ^^ I got some great presents this year! Kisa and Kendall got me a blue PS2 controller (I didn't think about it at the time, but...A BLUE CONTROLLER <3 it's totally mine. I have dibs FOREVAH XD), Elizabeth H got me a dice game (looks fun! but I haven't had a chance to play it yet), the Jamie, Beth and Todd got me...oh gosh...I can't remember who got me what...^^; I'll have to sort it out later...but I know I got some silver hoop earrings, and an awesome scarf, and this green blanket that's SOOO warm...it looks like Pippin's scarf, too. XD And...hmm....I got...
Well..I forget all I got...XD

Haley (9:09:25 AM): Annnd then we played Mafia. When I announced we were going to play it, everyone was excited, but Kisa particularly, so Mom thought she'd be great at being the storyteller (sort of the leader of the game).
She did awesome. xD I think it really helped her have a good time. She was making up all these crazy deaths for people, and she was a lot of fun...xD
You should've seen Jeremy's death scene when I helped get him excecuted. He mimed being dragged back, while shouting "I'll get back at you Haley!!", then sat down in mid air, jerked as his arms were strapped down, then actually did a really convincing shivering and twitching like he was being eletricuted, then slumped to the floor. XD Kisa was so stunned and impressed she forgot to mention that he WAS a mafia member, and we picked the right person.

Max (9:11:39 AM): Electric chair? XD
Haley(9:12:35 AM): Yeah. XD We said that they were sent to the electric chair when we voted them out

On another note, my Mom took some pictures, and Kisa did too, so I might be posting some up later (using a filter so that only people who know me IRL or have permission to see pictures can see them...^^; Sorry for the rest of you guys!)
