AN: This is my first Chlamon (Damon/Chloe) fic ever. I've stopped writing awhile ago now but I was kinda inspired thanks to those great one shots I read on different journals so thank you :) I don't have any beta so all mistakes are mine. In this one-shot, note that Oliver and Chloe never happened, they're only friends and co workers. As for TVD, Elena did break up with Stefan and eventually fell for the older Salvatore brother. Hope you'll enjoy it.

Damon arrived in the city in the morning as expected. The faster he found the rock, the faster he could get the hell out of there. Metropolis, those people always in a hurry, those freaks coming out of no where...This city was trouble and even he wasn't crazy enough to hang around for long. Hearing his cell ring, Damon took his phone out of his pocket and picked up without checking the caller id.

"I knew you couldn't wait long to hear my voice. You have no idea what I wanna do to you baby. I swear as soon as I get this over with, Damonator's gonna take care of you..." The vampire said, a smirk forming upon his lips at the images flowing his mind.

"Ewwwwwww!" A disgusted voice responded which was all it took for Damon to drop the smirk and flinch at the sound of her voice. This wasn't his girlfriend's voice. It wasn't Elena's voice.

"You're judging again. And I can see your "I hate Damon" face from here, I told you to find something else...You're trying so hard that wrinkles are surfacing." Hearing Bonnie mutter something, his smirk was back. Even though they didn't get along, he really enjoyed pissing her off.

"What's up?"

"I need more than one meteor rock for the spell. Apparently there are different sorts of meteor rocks and I need two of them. A green and a red rock. This source of power will help me cast a stronger spell that could harm the oldest creatures out there. In theory. I need them, Damon."

"I'll get them." With that, the vampire hung up the phone. Where the hell was he supposed to find those rocks? If his brother's information were right, it shouldn't be that hard though. This place was full of freaks infected by those rocks.

"Come on, Lois, a romantic week end with Clark was all you wanted. Just relax, I'm sure everything's gonna be fine. Of course I'm right. Love you too, Lo." Hanging up the phone, Chloe couldn't help but slightly smile, amused by her cousin's hysterical reaction to Clark's invite at some bed and breakfast far from Smallville and the Daily Planet.

Taking a sip of the hot coffee she ordered, the blonde slightly moaned. Coffee was her guilty pleasure as everyone close to her knew but this place seriously made the best coffee ever. Putting her cup back down, Chloe smiled at the waitress as she brought her favorite pie.

"Thank you. I know you're new here but in less than a week you already know my favorites without me even ordering anything. That definitely will give you extra tips."

Not waiting for the waitress' answer, Chloe took a bite of the pie and couldn't suppress another moan.

"I don't get it. It tastes even better every time I come here. Do you think they'll let me in the kitchen so I can steal the recipe?"

The forty year-old-waitress slightly laughed. "I'll see what I can do for you."

As the waitress went back towards the counter, someone grabbed her arm. Turning around, she was about to protest when her eyes connected to his black orbs.

"I wanna know all about meteor rocks. Where can I find them?"

"I...I don't know. I'm new in town." The poor waitress said, her eyes unable to leave his.

"You're useless. Go back to work, don't look back and you won't even remember we had this conversation. Understand?" He asked, his eyes now glaring at her.

"I will go back to work and I won't remember having this conversation."

With that, the waitress made her way back to the counter and Damon's eyes return to his normal blue/grey orbs.

The scene that just happened left Chloe speechless. What the hell was that?! Why didn't the waitress let him be such an asshole to her? And what was this thing with his eyes? Once dark and now as light as the ocean? While everything processed in her head, she got up from her seat and walked towards the rude guy.

"Hey, hold on a sec. You're not going anywhere."

At the sound of a female voice, Damon turned around and eyed up and down the tiny blonde standing in front of him.

"I'm not?" He asked, pretty curious to know what else she got to say. Even though his type was more of brunettes, this pretty little thing could be the exception.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" She asked, her eyes glaring at him with a tone that didn't suit her tiny form.

"Who do you think you are?" He returned, his eyes narrowing. If he seemed intrigued by her at first, now he was getting irritated by her tone. No one spoke to Damon Salvatore the way she did.

"You can't just treat people like crap. Whatever your issue is, you could have just asked nicely. You can't just go around compelling people. That's not how you should use your ability." She explained, the last part lower not to get unwilling attention.

"Ability?"

If Damon wasn't a master in the art of self-control, more or less, he would have shown his surprise. That girl actually knew she compelled the other woman. How could she know that?

"Look, I know a foundation that can help you. I used to work there in fact. They can help you control yourself."

"Control myself..." What she was talking about, he didn't know but if she kept ranting he would have to shut her up definitely.

"Meteor infected people can't just..."

"Meteor infected people??" There she was. She thought he was one of those freaks.

"Is there an echo in here?!" She asked, cocking an eyebrow.

Clenching his jaw, the older Salvatore brother thought he had enough of her and decided it was better to leave or else he'd have to snap her pretty little neck. Then, it hit him. She used to help infected kids, which meant she might know where to find the rocks. Taking a step closer to her, his couldn't help himself checking her out once more. He definitely liked what he saw and wouldn't mind seeing more of her. Maybe after he found the meteor rocks he would try to hit that.

"What's your name?" He asked, his eyes back on her green ones.

"Chloe. What's yours?"

"Damon." Looking into her deep orbs, his eyes started to change back to the cold ones she previously saw when he was with the waitress.

"You're gonna help me find meteor rocks now. Red and green. I'm gonna open the door and we'll both leave together with a bright smile upon this pretty face of yours."

Lifting his hand, Damon softly caresses her cheek as she nodded and smiled. A smile that took him off guard. She was so radiant, those pink luscious lips begging to be kissed and he almost gave in. Almost.

Opening the door, Damon forced a smile and motioned for her to lead the way. As they both left the café, Chloe frowned wondering why she accepted to help him.

Pushing the doors of Watchtower open, Chloe stepped inside what seemed to be her second home lately and walked towards the stairs. Not hearing any footsteps behind her, she turned around and paused.

"What is it?"

"You didn't invite me in. How rude would I be if I just came into your place uninvited?" At this point, sarcasm was his best option. As lame as it sounded, there was no way he could tell her the real reason.

"You want the kryptonite or not? Come on in already. I'll be right back, it's upstairs."

As Chloe disappeared from his sight, Damon walked into the Watchtower. What the hell was that place? He wondered, looking around, only to see dozens of computers and only one piece of furniture in the place. He suddenly felt the urge to get to know more about this girl and for that, he only knew one way to succeed. Hearing her coming back down, he turned around now facing her, noticing a black box in her hand.

"Here you go. Green and red kryptonite." Without even thinking twice, she handed him the box.

"You're not meteor infected, are you?"

The box in his hand, Damon opened it to see two shiny rocks. Glancing back up at her, he smirked.

"No, I'm not. And don't insult me again or I'll rip your heart out." He replied playfully, not planning to do so. Not when he could drain her dry.

"What are you?"

Not intimidated at all, Chloe took the time to really look at him. He was handsome. Really handsome. Not the Clark or Oliver type. He had something different. Something dark and cold in him. Something brutal but so deep at the same time. Chloe didn't even know why she didn't even notice it sooner.

After Jimmy's death, it was like no guy seemed to catch her attention. She did work with loads of pretty faces and well built men but she never thought of them as anything but friends. Even Lois teased her by calling her a nun.

"Trust me, Blondie, you don't wanna know."

"I do."

A comfortable silence settled between them. He didn't know who this girl was, the only thing he knew about her was her name. She was caring but could be dangerous. He didn't need to spend a lot of time with her to figure that out. She said it herself, she had worked in a foundation that helped meteor infected people and that already meant something. And if he wasn't a super powered and fearless vampire he probably would have been intimidated by her. The way she confronted him at the café just...kinda turned him on? That was true though. Every second he spent with her he only desired one thing. To taste her lips. His train of thoughts were interrupted by his phone ringing. Cursing under his breath, he picked up.

Chloe stood there kinda confused. Did they just share a moment? She noticed his eyes on her lips for the second time today, she saw the way he looked at her. It was the same way she looked at him. Whoever this Damon guy was, she was attracted to him. At the thought, Chloe swallowed because she knew deep down that he was trouble.

"What? Always the perfect timing, Stefan. What's the rush? Fine, fine, stop whining. I'm on my way." Hanging up the phone, his beautiful eyes met hers.

"My brother...He can't live without me."

Putting his phone back in his pocket, he made a mental note to kick his brother's ass for interrupting them. Sure, he probably should be easy on him since he technically stole his girlfriend from him but he wouldn't be this time. That was the first time Elena even crossed his mind since he met Chloe and even then, the need to kiss the blonde didn't fade away.

"Thanks for...the kryptonite as you call it. I'll see you again."

Before she could say anything, Damon vanished into thin air, leaving Chloe speechless for the second time.
