A Meme -
The Rules:
1. People who have been tagged must write the answers on their blog and replace any question they dislike with a new, original question.
2. Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you. Who cares? Are the meme police gonna chase me if I refuse?
1. Make a list of 5 things that you can see without getting up.
Hubby's wallet, cd rom games, colour print cartridge, tv, hubby
2. How do you style your hair?
Brush it, then either clip part of it back or ponytail it, unless for work, when I sometimes put a hairband on to keep it out of my face or aforementioned clip some back
3. What are you wearing now?
Red USA sweatshirt and grey sweatpants
4. What book are you reading right now?
"Compulsion" by Jonathan Kellerman
5. What do you hear right now?
the DVD my hubby's watching (The Driver) and my kids talking in the background
6. Who was the last person you hugged?
My hubby
7. What is/was for dinner?
Breakfast! hah - truly - we ate all those yummy breakfast foods like eggs, bacon, mushrooms, hash browns and toast cos I was too lazy to think of a proper dinner
8. What did you do today?
Worked, mostly. Collected kids from school and actually came straight home and stayed here for the first time all week. Mooched around.
9. Dog person or cat person?
Cat more than dog, though both have their good and bad points. Plus I'm too lazy to have dogs!
10. If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
Batty Von Headshrinker!
11. What was the last thing that you bought?
Liquid Chalk
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Macchu Pichu, and other South American places that I have to see before I die
13. Favorite band/musician?
My all-time favourite band is the Bee Gees (no one does harmony like those boys) and musician is Eric Clapton, but there are so many, many more I love a ton too
14. Favorite book?
How many days do you have? Although I maintain it's "Interview with the Vampire" most days because when I got this in 1980, it was my wet dream - no-one wrote vampires like this before Anne Rice and it was the slashiest thing I'd EVER read. It was a bit like coming home.
15. What are you doing this weekend?
Going to the Kumeu show, making my sister a birthday card, various chores, listing things on Trade Me
16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
I sort-of know how to play guitar, but after XXX years since I last touched one, I'm not sure I could even play a tune any more. I'd love to be a drummer though
17. How are you?
I'm in a little bit of shock since I heard about the earthquake in Japan
18. Do you think the world will end in our lifetime? (I replaced the question 'What are you doing tomorrow?' because it is the weekend tomorrow and I already said)
I think it's entirely likely at the moment. There's been so many natural disasters in recent times; it's got me worried
19. What are you looking forward to the most?
Currently? Hopefully that there won't be too many Japanese people dying because of the earthquake and tsunami. Personally - getting the extension done on our house
