A typical day at work

Mar 11, 2008 18:14

I spent most of my day today on Graphics Design Forum.

Other then that, my day is largely spent reading Creative Latitude, Before & After magazine, Designer Today, HOW Design magazine, Communication Arts magazine, Design & Creative bookshelf, Graphic Design blog, You the Designer.

Daily sites are Core77 Design blog, Smashing Magazine, 456 Berea St., A List Apart, About.com Desktop Publishing and Graphics Design sections, AIGA Design Forum, Boxes and Arrows, CSS Beauty, Digital Web, GUUUI, Sitepoint Blogs, Smileycat, Style Gala, UX Magazine, Veerle's Blog, and Web Designer Wall (in a hurry but you can easily Google for links if you are so inclined).

I also spent a bit of time playing with CSS, trying to get the builtin FTP feature of UltraEdit working, and trying to help people on the GDF with some web design issues using Dreamweaver (I log in to my computer at home to use the software I have, since it's not available at work).

Oh, and I actually did spend an hour or two doing actual work-related tasks I was assigned.

We are just finishing up supper and then heading out to visit Toddler.
