so i read this, and i love it so much. i've shipped sunggyu/eunji ever since they appeared on running man together, and i think it's quite a challenge to write about them in canon (especially sunggyu's voice + responsibility as leader) but you've managed it so well! i really enjoyed how you combined the canon a pink/infinite interactions (their coinciding comebacks, their variety show appearances, etc.) with your own canon narrative of them. i sort of wished that more of the fic was in eunji's perspective simply so that we could see how she felt about sunggyu, but i really loved reading from sunggyu's pov! the way you portrayed the idol lives was so realistic for me, and i really appreciated that. just... a lot of love for this fic okay. the prose is very well done too! <3

ah i'm really glad you noticed that i tried to stick close to canon! i'm not a huge a pink or infinite stan (i usually write kaistal/henber) so a lot of wikipedia research went into this, haha. sunggyu and eunji were definitely challenging as characters to write since they both kind of stick to their derpy, cheerful images most of the time. i agree than eunji's pov could probably have brought another dimension but i wasn't sure how to go about it since the fic kind of follows how gyu comes to understand her in a new light and realizes the other half of her strangeness is the fact that's she's heartbroken??? if i ever come back to this i definitely want to explore the build up of their relationship.
