Happy New Year...
Yesterday evening I caught a plane to ancient capital of no fewer than six dynaties, Xi'an. Xi'an has more historical sights listed as protected or historically significant than any other city in China. I only stay here for 2days. Can anyone say overwhelming?
Tomorrow we, my traveling companion Rodrigo and I, plan to see the terracotta warriors. Then on Monday at 9am I catch a sleeper train to Guangzhou; from there I immediately board a train to Hong Kong. My "tentative schedule" is proving to be just that.
