Summary: Ukitake questions Shunsui's love on a stroll.
Author's Notes: Written for my 100 Situations table featuring Shunsui and Juushiro of Bleach. Note: This is set in the past and both Shunsui and Juushiro are both in the 9th division. Shunsui is 7th seat and Juushiro is 9th seat. Written in poetry.



The walk was magical
Not even the sun could shine
as bright.

I grow to love him more each day.
Whether sick or in health
I grow to love him more each second.

He means everything to me

As we walk, he turns to ask,
"Do you really love me?"
It nearly knocks me off my feet.

I hesitate for a moment,
not sure of what I shall say to him.
Of course I love him

I would give him my soul.
He takes one step forward,
I do the same.

"Can you answer for me?"
He becomes flustered.
I know him too well.

Taking a step forward, I kiss him gently.
Our lips barely touch.
It's the kind of kiss one wishes for in their deepest desires.

Taking his hand in mine, we turn.
And continue our walk.
The world is ours.
