Letting Loose One Last Time
This weekend has been a wonderful mix of pure fun, good friends, and no responsibility. Which is good because I don't think I will be getting any more opportunities to let loose again until the end of the quarter. Mainly this is because I got hired as Supe and now have to shadow for 70 hours by the end of the quarter. Which did make for a rather busy Friday that wiped me out and had me in bed by 9:30 PM that night. So sad that I had to be sober on Cinco de Mayo. I know it's not a real holiday, but it's a great excuse to drink.
Yesterday was a blast. Nick, Polli, and Kim picked me up at about 8:50 AM and we all headed off to Barryessa for a barbecue and drinking. It was great, everyone had finished their first beer/girlie drink by 10:45 AM. Nick started doing his grill master thing around 11 AM in anticipation of Nicole and Bronson arriving. They never came, but the four of us had a blast. Grilling up mushrooms with some Mirror Pond Pale Ale was a good idea. The burgers will quite filling. About 12:30 PM the food coma hit and we all lined up on the shore sleeping on towels and blankets. Nick couldn't handle the sun and moved to the bench while us girls stayed in the sun and turned into lobsters. Particularly Polli and myself. Around 4 PM we started to head back so we could catch a movie. On our way back, we stopped by the dam to take a look at the Glory Hole in operation. It was really beautiful and kinda creepy at the same time.
We caught the 7:20 PM showing of M:I-3 Polli and I definitely had a good laugh while Nick really liked it. I had some guy decide to sit right next to me because he thought the theater was going to fill up. Well, it didn't and I didn't appreciate him always leaning into my area thus forcing me to practically be all over Polli.
After the movie we headed up to North Sycamore and the most recent incarnation of a party at 2802. Good times were to be had by all. Nick kicked my ass at fuss-ball. Bocian kicked someone in the ass. I have a great picture with his foot in the air. It was a good mix of people and I think everyone had fun. We decided to leave about 1 AM and go to my place and hit up the Jacuzzi. The hot tub felt nice, but I'm sure the chlorine was bad for my sun burns. Nick kept doing something that warranted me and Polli ganging up on him. Kim was smart staying out as she said Nick could take on 30 kindergartners, or so that's what he claimed. Polli and I decided it would be funny to hide Nick's boxers on him and he was quite perplexed for a bit until I threw them at him. Everyone realized they didn't have enough cash for Tipsy, and since I was sober I drove everyone home. Good night.
This morning we all woke up and went to Fugi's for lunch. Very tasty. I haven't been to it in a while. I managed not to eat too much or waste anything. Score. However, now it's times to do homework because I won't have time during the week anymore.
