the incredible shrinking food
For several months, I've noticed a disturbing trend among the things I normally buy at the grocery store. The prices are going up, and the sizes of the packages (or the food itself) is SHRINKING. I really thought I might be going crazy for a few weeks. I thought my wires might be crossed in my brain or something, but Mike has noticed it, too. Ice cream cartons, stir fry bags, bags of microwave popcorn, and now the frozen fish I buy have all lost volume, but the price has increased. WTF is up with that? I wonder what else I'll discover in the next few weeks has mysteriously gotten smaller.
