Hm. I don't recall putting this journal in my glove box, but I suppose that's a moot point, considering that I don't remember much of anything at all. The only evidence I have that this is my glove box at all is that my recollection begins in the driver's seat of this car. I doubt it's stolen, but there doesn't seem to be any proof one way or the other.
...And the journal is blank as well, of course. I suppose no harm would come of using it to keep track of things, should whatever caused the loss of my memory occur again. Very well.
My name is Miles. I can recall no personal information beyond that. I am in a car, presumably my own, in a forest, deciduous in nature. Judging by the condition of the foliage, it appears to be sometime in the spring. Strangely enough, I have found neither a road nor tire tracks to explain the car's presence. I haven't located any personal effects, or, in fact, much of anything in the vehicle, save for a toolbox in the trunk and this empty journal in the glove box. It's really quite bothersome.
No matter. For now, I think the most sensible thing to do would be to seek out any signs of civilization. Perhaps I'll find some answers there.
