Edgeworth's relationship with Franziska was a difficult one. They'd been romantically involved during Edgeworth's previous stay on the island, but apparently it was a rocky relationship even then. Consequently, when he returned without any memories, this put a considerable strain on an already strained relationship. They still hadn't really worked things out when she disappeared. He hopes she's happier now, wherever she is.

Edgeworth and Gaignun first met as children during the age event. They didn't really get along. Despite said setback, they get along pretty well as adults and Edgeworth appreciates having someone he can have intelligent discussion with around.

Edgeworth thinks Louise is a little overbearing and worries about him too much, but he finds himself appreciative of her presence and friendship anyway.

Phoenix was Edgeworth's childhood best friend. Edgeworth's childhood was a long time ago. Edgeworth mostly avoided Phoenix when he could, and one day, he just disappeared. Edgeworth's still not entirely sure what to think of it all.

Trucy was Phoenix's daughter, confusing in and of itself. She was also much too energetic and overbearing. 8| Damn kids these days. 8|
Vash

Vash was Edgeworth's roommate during his previous stay on the island. Vash remains loyal to Edgeworth despite his long absence and renewed amnesia, and despite how overbearing and energetic Vash tends to be, Edgeworth really does appreciate that. Most of the time. Sometimes Vash really does just get on his nerves.
