Annndd it just got not sexy. That's terrible. Whoever said it (allegedly) deserved the full wrath of Mesut.

It was Villa (who also slapped him, twice, unprovoked). And it was purely deductive. Mesut is German and Muslim, so there are only two ways to insult him, really. Call him a Nazi or something, or go after his religion.

What makes the gif "sweet" is that 5 or 6 players are rescuing Mesut from the situation - they just handed him off to Sami to deal with before getting back into the fray. Carvalho, Pipita, everyone, really (Pipita grabbed Villa by the throat, as it happens, before Mesut could even react).

Bright side: our boys love each other and look out for each other!!!
