(i went back and forth on whether to post today, given recent events in connecticut. i decided in the end to go ahead as planned, given that not everyone in the comm is american or feels this tragedy in the same way, and some people cope by retreating to fantasy. i hope you don't find this inappropriate, but that was my thinking on the matter.)
