Yeah, well...
I cleaned up the garage this past weekend. Took all day Saturday. I also had some stuff to put up in the attic, and since I was up there, I got the X-Mas decorations down. So the garage is clean, and everything is put away, and there are x-mas decorations/storage boxes/other random crap all over the living room and hallways.
We got a new fake tree. It's just like the old one, only new. And the box hasn't turned into a roll of card-paper supported by layers of packing and duct tape. Yet. Actually, it does have one huge improvement... it's pre-lit!!! Unless you have had to string 3 trees a year for the past several years, you have no idea how nice it is to get a pre-lit tree.
I also found a whole bunch of rodent droppings in the attic all over our x-mas stuff boxes. I named the potential rat/mouse Mr. Fuzzy Judo Pants. Mr. Fuzzy Judo Pants tells us how he really feels by leaving droppings only on certain boxes... namely all the x-mas decorations. Mr. Fuzzy Judo Pants hasn't eaten any of the d-con I put out, but will be getting a visit from our friend Joe at Terminix tomorrow. I have to now go find where he has been getting in/out and plug up the hole. Probably go get some fox urine at the feed store to put around the eaves of the house too. Joys of home ownership.
I am waiting on my bonus to get my iPhone. My 2nd Quarter bonus. I already had my 3rd Quarter review, and know how much that bonus is for, but I'm not expecting to get that for a while... based on current pace, I'm not expecting to see it until at least March or April of next year. Only a little bitter about it... not nearly as much as some of the other people I work with. In the meantime, I'm hatin' all yous that has the iPhones.
Holiday season starts soon. Starts on Sunday for me... got Sister, bro-in-law, and kids coming in... dinner on Sunday at Mom's. Then have something every day or night until I leave on the 29th for NYC.
BTW - Any of you NYC folk that may read this... I'll be in town on Sat., the 29th. If you are free give me a holla 'cause I ain't gonna have shit to do.
