So as I get older, I find that I am more into football. Even only 5 years ago, I'd watch the games if they were on, but never really made a point of it. Yesterday, I made DAMN sure that I wasn't going to miss either the Cowboys or the Colts.
Anyways, Matt & Jenn came over. I made chili. We ate chili, and watched football. It may not have been the weather for it yet, but it was still nice.
Isaac (Matt's kid) is walking around and babbling constantly now.
So yeah. Livin' it up suburban style. That's the way I do it now. YOU know.
Thinking about having an end to summer grill-out at the house. BYOBeef. BYOBeer. Have to figure out how to mow first, though.
Went to mow this weekend, 'cause I let it go a couple of weeks, and my lawn looks a little ratty. We have all electric lawn stuff - mower, edger, weed eater. I like them b/c they're low maintenance, no need to keep gas on hand, smell less, and are cheaper to buy up front. So I plug in the weed eater to get started, and it doesn't work from the outdoor outlet. I get out the multimeter and the outdoor outlets are ALL dead. We have these GFI outlets all over the house, and in the garage that will occassionally trip b/c of the hot tub, and end up cutting off power to the outdoor outlets. I'm not sure how this works, since the hot tub is on a dedicated circuit, and the outdoor outlets aren't on the same breaker as the issue GFI outlet. Can't just reset the problem GFI outlet this time, though b/c it's behind the fridge in the garage. Until I figure out a way to get to that outlet, I have to figure out something to get the lawn mowed... probably tie on an extra extension cord, and run power from inside the house.
That's all I got. I should be working, so I'm going now.
Late.
