Intro Post

Since I don't want to go to bed yet (I know that standing up tomorrow morning will be hard) and since I got a few newbies here and there who don't know me or at least not much about me, I'll write an inrto post here.

your mother is right XD I'd like to learn spanish so much! But first I have to learn french, although I hate it D:
If you have the time to learn a language, let me know, I'll try to help you out with german if you want ^^

yeah, quite persons tend to be good listeners XD" although i can be quite loud, if a friend has to say something, I'll listen and give advices. Too bad they don't come to me at my own life XD"

caaaaats are so great x3~ A friend of mine has such a great cat! He's so cute and you can do what you want with him, he always looks at you like "The fuck it would bother me!"

to the parts with the kids... I've never been good with them XD" Even not with my cousin. I'n not even now (okay, she became a quite little bitch recently, too).

haha that's great to hear! I like someone who's got similar character sides XD although I also have a foulmouth if I'm not in a bad mood, o know that someone else has it too~ haaaah~~ XD

Aikido is cool, too! A former classmate of mine did it and he was pretty strong! Though, i like kendo more XD I wish we would have clubs here, but in germany there aren't any sports clubs at school. we have things called "AG" (work groups) with sports which are once a week, but at my school it was only in middle school, our high school just had things like cooking, sewing, science and so on. Too bad, I'd have loved to do volleyball again!

Swimming is great, too! I love swimming ^-^ although i didn't do it for quite a long time now. But in high school I loved it if hwe had our swimming lesson x3~
To basketball-- well, I ain't that tall XD" but since I can be fast on my legs if I want and can sneak through under one's arms, it's quite funny to play XD I played with my roommates last summer and it was so great! they lost against my team muahahaha >D (But that was actually because of my playing partner XD BUT WHO CARES! >D)

I LOVE traditional asian music. Not everything, but the most things are so beautiful! Enka also, there are quite many great songs out there! Rock is actually my part of share in the music world, I love it, but there are so many great pop songs, classical songs or whatever I like. Since my mother hears country music, I listen to it, too and there are also a few great ones!

(haha, no problem, I like long comments >D)

Spanish is an easy language, at least. :D And I think that I will have an easier time learning German with a background in another foreign language (at least, I hope so, haha). Thanks for the offer! I'm starting off slowly on my own (I'll probably be able to go more quickly once summer vacation starts). Once I get comfortable enough to write some basic stuff, I might try posting some simple LJ entries in German.

My best friend is actually the quiet type too. She's also very nice, so people LOVE her. I'm seen as nice too, but I do have a slight mean streak that comes out sometimes when I get annoyed with people. I'm also a colder person and look more stern. XD;; (I like to say that my long ramblings on LJ make up for my silence IRL, haha)

I've always wanted a cat of my own, but my mom doesn't like pets. Perhaps I'll get one when I'm older. :D

I'm not good with kids either....one girl was charmed by me after she saw me play the violin (I felt like a mother duck, haha). She was really cute -- I think she's the only kid who's ever liked me so far, LOL. I also tend to favor shy and quiet kids, the ones who are more lonely. It might be because of my childhood....I tend to dislike the kids that charm most people instantly and are very outgoing. I even find them annoying sometimes. I also remember a boy who came up to me and just stared at me....I stared back, and all of a sudden, he started crying. :| *is obviously very talented with kids*

I remember that I had a foulmouth ALL the time when I was in middle school, hahaha. I've toned it down a lot since then though, since I realized that I sounded really bad. D:

:O You had swimming lessons in high school? That's cool -- my school doesn't. :( This year is the worst because I'm in a gym class that is so small that we can't have any choices in which classes we want because there aren't enough teachers during that class period. We get classes assigned to us. =/ I really hope that tennis will be offered next quarter, because that's the only gym class that I like.

Yeah, I like enka too. :D I really like traditional Asian instruments though, especially the zither-type ones like the guzheng and the koto.

I just noticed that you have Pull Tab to Can as one of your favorite bands -- that is so awesome. :DD I really want to listen to Mera Mera and Wonderful Days again all of a sudden. (Prince of Tennis was my first fandom, and I don't think I'll ever have a fandom quite like it, haha).

well, german is really hard to learn. I got a few friends who learn it/learned it and they say the same ^^ because we have many words which aren't existing in english ^^ Like... we have about three words for "that" and for someone who's not familar with the language, it seems quite hard to see or know the difference. Also if you try to explain it, it's still hard to understand (even for me, sometimes XD)

yaay I'll wait for seeing your entries :D

hahaha me too XD" I'm also more the cold type with certain things XD" and because of that and the fact that I'm not smiling like an idiot the whole day or can't laugh about some jokes because it's just not my humor, many also say that I'm often in a bad mood XD

my mom doesn't like to have a cat either XD she would like a dog, IF she wants a pet, but I don't like dogs and the flat is too small for one to begin with, so... but she doesnt like cat hair everywhere XD and I always said "THEREFORE CATS DONT STINK!!"

well, the problems with me is... that kids normally like me... and that's what annoys me even more XD" like "WANNA PLAY WANNA PLAY?!?!?!?!" and I'm standing there "Kid... please just go away Q~Q" but it's the same with dogs. i don't like dogs, but they like me XD"
But if you charm them with playing violin, it's kinda amazing I think x3~

I have to take care of it, too. My mother alsways says I don't know the time for stopping, so I have to work on it quite hardly!

yeah, we had ^^ since we didn't have clubs, we had swimming or sports once a week ^^ Ew. that sounds bad D: yeah, I hope for you that tennis will be there! ^^

yeah, Koto *Q* ahh, such a beautiful melody *Q* I could listen to it for years in a row without taking any break (beside sleeping nd eating of course XD)

ahhhh Wonderful days is such a great song! I fell in love with it when they sang it in the anime and then IT HAD BEEN THE ENDING TOO :D (Haha, you should change that >D I can recomment you Major (baseball) and Eyeshield 21 (Football) and REAL (Basketball) they're great mangas x33~)

Yeah, I've had a lot of people tell me that German grammar is crazy. I just meant that perhaps having the background of another foreign language might help me. XD

People often think that I'm in a bad mood too, since I have such a serious face. XD;;; It always feels uncomfortable when people go, "Why do you look so angry/sad?"

I don't like dogs that much, although I don't know why. I think that they can sense it, haha -- at my friend's birthday party, I was the only one who wasn't smiling and cooing at his dog, who was very happy to see everyone. We noticed that I was the only one that the dog did not greet happily, LOL. I kind of did it on purpose though -- his dog is HUGE, and I didn't feel like getting mauled (it was jumping all ever everyone else).

Have you listened to music groups like 12 Girls Band, Rin', or Yoshida Brothers? I love how they use traditional Chinese/Japanese music and also have elements of modern music. :D

Someone else on my flist loves Eyeshield 21 too. I might check it out, thanks! :D

mhhh yeah ^^ english is a help there ^^ because some words are similar, it's easy to learn vocabs XD but the grammar... really, not even germans are getting it fully XD not to mention the slng in some parts here... geeeeeeez really, if you come from north germany (like me) and live in the south... hey, you don't understand a word first XD it's like hearing a completely different language XD

yeah XD okay, asking once is still okay, but hearing it the whole day, at some point, it just pisses you off XD

hahahaha that happened a few times to me too XD but there was one dog I just loved! It was the dog of my best friend. Unfortunally he's dead yet, but when he was still living, he was awesome! XD although he tried to jump my leg several times xD

the dog of my aunt loved to jump onto my mother XD every time we had been there, he came to her, stood on his backlegs and his front legs were on her shoulders and he was licking all over her face... EVERY TIME XD and he once plonked her down XD since that day she stood up against the wall every time we visited XD

no, I haven't. But I'll check them out! If you want to hear rock together with traditional, you have to look up Kagrra! Such a great band! they play koto, too :D and whoa, they're just amazing with some songs!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-59m4Z6Dyw I think this one is pretty amazing :D

you should x3~

Yeah, true -- English is a Germanic language. I hope that I can master at least the basics fairly quickly.
There's different slang in each region of the USA too, but they're fairly easy to remember and understand. For instance, people in the Northeast (where I live) tend to say things like: "That's mad cool!" In this case, mad means "very", not "angry."

My mom's friend in Taiwan had a dog that was even older than me at the time, haha (17 years old -- I was 16 back then) -- it died right after we went back to the USA though. :(

I love Kagrra! It's been such a long time since I've listened to them though -- I lost all of my files when my old HD crashed, and Kagrra somehow slipped my mind when I started refinding them.

Here are some of my favorite songs from the artists I mentioned before:
Yoshida Kyoudai - Nabbed (they play the shamisen)

12 Girls Band - Reel Around the Sun>

12 Girls Band - New Classicalism>

Rin' - Sakura Sakura - I absolutely love this video <33

ah they all are pretty cool :D b-but... I totally fell in love with Rin's song *Q* it's sooo beautiful >o<

oh, the slang here is really quite bad XD if you hear some people talking to you, it's almost as if you're hearing a different language. Also, while speaking, the grammar often is totally different. sometimes it's even worse than hearing a foreign one with bad accent XD

awww a pitty! If the dog was nice, it really is a pitty D:

yeah, kagrra is really amazing *Q* I like them quite much x33~
