Such a wonderful day~
Oh, today was such a lovely day. I was afraid that it might turn out bad due to the weather this morning being gloomy and overcasted. But it became sunny and nice later on in the afternoon. It was quite uplifting!
A beautifully planned party on a beautiful day. It started out with Tamie coming to pick me up at my place and we headed off to Aberdeen centre to meet up with the rest of our friends. We decided to meet up with everyone in Starbucks, having some coffee or baked goods while waiting for the others. We chatted happily and received many compliments on our dresses. Eventually everyone showed up, so we decided to walk around the mall for a bit. We wanted to look at the doll and figurine store on the top floor and see what they have on display so we headed up there.
As we were passing through the food court from coming up the escalator, I think someone spotted a lolita amongst the crowd. But we weren't too sure, so we headed towards the doll and figurine store first. But then, I wanted something to snack on, so we returned to the food court to see what I can get. As we were walking amongst the food vendors, I think we chanced upon a group of lolitas having an outing. As we were not too familiar with them, we didn't want to bother them on such a lovely day. But I think Jing knew one of the girls there... ahhh, I do think I recall her name being Sharon? Or was it Shannon? Such a lovely girl. Anyways, she was interested in talking to dear Tamie, so they chatted for a bit and exchanged contact info I think.
After that, we turned to leave because I didn't find anything I want in the food court. I guess none of the things there suited my appetite today. But as we were leaving, I do believe we saw another lolita in a lovely pink and white dress with long curls. But I didn't know her, and none of us did either. I think I saw her turn around to go the other way. Perhaps she wanted something to eat from a vendor down that side. It would've been nice to see her outfit fully though. Ah, zannen desuwa~
We then left the mall to go to a teahouse to have tea and snacks with our dolls. It was very pretty inside and suited all of us very well. We took pictures inside too! I shall post up pictures of Setsu and Gabrielle today~ They wore matching dresses of white! So cute! I ordered strawberry milk tea today~ When I first poured it out, it had a strong scent of strawberry. So lovely~ I think I shall have it again next time!
We had many interesting conversations over our tea and pastries. After almost 2 hours (or more?), we headed off to another place for a photoshoot since everyone wore such lovely outfits today! We found a very pretty and secluded place without a lot of people staring at us. It was really fun, but fun times end very quickly (due to not enough power in the battery of the camera). Sad~ but at least we had many shots taken before the camera died~^^
As it was getting dark, everyone decided to head home. In short, today was very fun~ And I'm sure everyone had a great time today, of which I'm glad. But to those that could not join us today, we have missed you all dearly and wish you can make it to the next party~ I look forward to it!^^
