Pillow talk

May 25, 2013 12:46

Last night, I had a dream that I was being chased by persons who wanted to kill me. I was trying to escape, running for my life and suddenly, I woke up in a panic because I felt someone grab my foot. And after a few seconds, I realized that someone REALLY was inside my bedroom D:

The person came closer, said "Oh you were there? I thought you weren't since you are completely covered by your blanket." and left my room.

...That's how my father scared the hell out of me at 7am =='

It will soon be 8 pm in Japan so A.B.C-Z Twinkle x2 Star Tour 2013 last show in Toyama must be over now. Aaand I haven't done anything in celebrate of this tour. Oops ^_^;)>

But better late than never so without further ado, here is the Ebi crosstalk from Duet, June issue! I don't what happened to them in the middle of the interview but seriously, these five boys are the stupidest sparkling stars on earth ♥ xD

A.B.C-Z are now in the middle of their national tour! We have infiltrated Osaka shows! Here is the interview taken just before the beginning of a show! From rehearsals to backstage stories, we will show you everything!
----------After Sapporo, Hiroshima and Tokushima, it's now the second day in Osaka. Please tell us some stories that happened during the tour until now!
Tsukada: My parents, my little sister and her husband attended the show in Sapporo! They were planning on going to Sapporo so they took this opportunity to also see an A.B.C-Z show...Ah that's wrong, it's the opposite!
Totsuka: What really happened?
Tsukada: A while ago, I heard them say "We'd like to go on a trip. We want to eat delicious food." and I think their trip and the tour schedule matched by chance.

----------Did you meet Tsukada's family?
Hashimoto: We didn't~
Kawai: But we would have liked them to come to our dressing room.
Tsukada: Oh, really?
Kawai: Yeah, but only if they had brought snacks.
Hashimoto & Goseki & Totsuka: Ahaha!
Tsukada: You're right! It would have been great to have some snacks! Will your family members come to Yoyogi?
Kawai & Totsuka & Hashimoto & Goseki: Probably.
Tsukada: And will they bring snacks...?
Totsuka: No, they won't! The snack story was just a joke. (laugh)
Tsukada: So far, it has been a tour full of happenings.
Goseki: Is that so? There were happenings?
Tsukada: Yeah. Tsukada Ryoichi related happenings. My solo corner isn't going very well...
Hashimoto: Eh, it's not!? But I'm doing my best, appearing in it with you!
Totsuka: Too bad for you.
Tsukada: I mean...It's hard to explain. My solo corner should be like some kind of musicals...
Kawai: Eeeh, is that so?
Tsukada: See? I can't even explain it well to you. Isn't it the proof that it's not going well?
Goseki: Ahahah!
Tsukada: The vision is clear inside my head but it's hard to express it the way I would actually like to. And speaking about happenings, I have already forgotten to remove my spats pants and everybody saw it.
Hashimoto: Is there anything you want me to do?
Tsukada: Could you please tell me things like "It would be better to say your lines like that" or "I'll take the lead for that part"?
Kawai: Eh you, whose corner is it supposed to be!? (laugh)
Tsukada: Understood! I'll take more initiative then.
Totsuka: But isn't it bad if you keep thinking "It's not going well"?
Tsukada: Yeah. That's why I asked the dance teacher to give me some advice and I'm working on how to improve things everyday.
Kawai: Right now, I'm embarassed about my solo song.
Goseki: "The 47 prefectures" song?
Kawai: Yeah. The one that currently is a big hit. (laugh) It's a weird song in which I repeat the prefectures names again and again. I can't get excited when I sing it without the audience so it's embarassing to sing it during the rehearsals.

----------Did you decide to write the lyrics on your own?
Kawai: Yeah. It took quite a long time...Mmh, it took me about 30 minutes to write everything.
Totsuka: That's not even 1 minute per prefecture! (laugh)
Goseki: For me, during the first day in Sapporo, after the end of the second song, my right leg suddenly started to feel weird.
Hashimoto: That's very early to start feeling tired.
Goseki: Isn't it? But I kept doing my best anyway. Then after my solo corner, I left the stage and since it was dark, I banged my right leg against something that was there. I don't remember if I told the dance teach about it~. After that, I had to quickly change my clothes because I had to go back on stage but I realized I wouldn't make it on time. I thought "That's bad!" but the dance teacher told me "Goseki, it's ok, no need to hurry. You can go on stage later."
Kawai: By the way, things happened like that only because it was Goseki.
Totsuka: Goseki-san never get scolded.
Kawai: Could it be because you and the dance teacher are actually from the same family...?
Goseki: So it means we have actually never met before? (laugh)
Kawai: If I couldn't manage to go on stage on time, he would tell me "Kawai, what's wrong?". And this would actually mean "Hey you, did you actually get hurt again!?"
All: Ahahaha!

----------What about you, Hasshi?
Hashimoto: Hiroshima is where the drama Bad Boys takes place. So performing there was a bit like performing in my home town. I also tried to speak in Hiroshima dialect a bit but people didn't really get that excited over it.
Tsukada: That's because you were too embarassed. Whenever we told you "Try to say something!", you answered "I don't want to."
Hashimoto: If wou want to hear me speak in Hiroshima dialect, it's better to watch the drama.
Totsuka: This is the 4th city we come to, isn't it? Which means we're exactly in the middle of our tour! Depending on where we are, the stage is different, so is the audience and that's interesting.
Tsukada: (out of the blue) Naruto-shi Bunka Kaikan. (The name of the venue in Tokushima)
Goseki: Tsuka-chan often says "Uzumaki-shi" ("uzumaki" could be translated like "curly swirl") instead of "Naruto-shi" (laugh)
Tsukada: Naruto is famous for its whirlpools (= uzushio) isn't it? So the reason why I use that name is because when thinking about Naruto, I have the vision of rolls. (=maki)
Totsuka: Seems like you like the word "vision"~
Hashimoto: The distance between the stage and the audience was very small inside the Naruto-shi Bunka Kaikan.
Kawai: Yeah. We were so close from the audience that I thought "I should have applied more foundation".
Goseki: What are you talking about? (laugh)

----------What are the pairings when you stay at a hotel?
Hashimoto: I'm with Goseki.
Kawai: And I'm with Tsukada and Totsuka.
Tsukada: That's how things are now, in Osaka.
Hashimoto: Because usually, I'm with Tottsu.
Tsukada: But this time, it seems like Hasshi really wants to be with Goseki-kun.
Hashimoto: When we were in Tokushima, the manager asked me to go with Gocchi. Then, in the middle of the night, we watched TV shows that made us burst out laughing. I thought "Oh, I like being like that, we're having so much fun!". I wanted to be able to laugh with Gocchi again so I asked if we could also share the same room in Osaka.
Kawai: But we've been in Osaka for 2 days already and you still haven't found the time to laugh together, right?
Hashimoto: Yeah. We always ended up sleeping early. (laugh)

----------For the three of you who are sharing the same room, who sleeps on the extra bed?
Tsukada: Me. I'm in charge of the extra bed.
Kawai: He always says "I'm ok with sleeping on the extra bed".
Tsukada: When I'm tired, I can sleep anywhere...During Johnny's World Kanshasai shows in Osaka, I went to (Sato) Syori and (Kikuchi) Fûma's room to play and we watched TV together. And I fell asleep just like that, lying on the floor.
Kawai & Goseki: What!?
Tsukada: Syori and Fûma went to bed before me but Fûma woke up in the middle of the night and told me "Tsukada-kun, please come to my bed. We can sleep together." I thought "He is so kind~" and we both went to his bed but I was very nervous about sleeping next to Fûma. I couldn't sleep so in the end, I went back to the floor and slept there.
All: AHAHAHAH!!!
Goseki: The two of them were already sleeping and yet you stayed in their room. (laugh)
Totsuka: But Fûma is really kind~
Kawai: Actually, you wanted it to be Syori instead of Fûma?
Goseki: You thought "Oh, it's Fûma...", right?
Tsukada: I didn't, I didn't!
Goseki: This is not related at all but I'd like to talk about something weird. When he takes his shower, Ryosuke leaves the door open. Why do you do that?
Hashimoto: It's because otherwise, it gets too hot because of the steam.
Kawai: The real reason is that you're scared, aren't you? You're afraid of being alone.
Hashimoto: I'm not~ It's not that.
Goseki: So why do you also leave the toilet door open?
Kawai: It's because there is steam coming fro...
Hashimoto: That's weird, that's weird, you're saying weird things!

----------Did you eat delicious food in the cities you went to?
All: We did!
Tsukada: In Tokushima, we ate Tokushima ramen!
Totsuka: In Sapporo, we ate lamb shabu shabu and Genghis Khan (A Japanese grilled mutton dish popular in Sapporo).
Tsukada: There was also seafood donburi.
Kawai: In Hiroshima and Osaka, it was teppanyaki. (A style of Japanese cuisine that uses an iron griddle to cook food)
Hashimoto: This was so yummy~
Tsukada: Eating delicious food makes us want to do our best even more.

----------Let's talk about the concerts themselves now. What are the biggest highlights of this tour!?
Kawai: Maybe the fact that even though the stage itself is quite simple, we use things such as special spotlights or laser lights. Also there is a lot of interaction between the audience and us. We can often dance or sing together.
Goseki: We go into the audience and give fans high five for example.
Totsuka: Also the penlight made for this tour is awesome.
Kawai: It has different colors that can be changed, one for each of us. We also play with that penlight so it's a must-have item, really.

----------And after the show, among the persons who buy the DVD at the venue, those who win a special ticket get the chance to attend the "Twinkle Party"!
Kawai: But you know, everything related to this topic is secret. Only people who have won know about the content.
Tsukada: That's the reason why we can't talk much about it, but it's some kind of tea party.
Totsuka: There, he has revealed everything. (laugh)
Tsukada: We all have fun together while drinking an original drink. It's called the "A.B.C-Z Twinkle drink". Ah, I said it wrong. (Rolling his R's) It's the "Twinkle drink". (I don't know how I can write it differently so just imagine Tsuka saying it rolling his R's xD )
Hashimoto: You don't have to pronounce it like that.
Kawai: People who buy the DVD but don't win a ticket to attend the party are given presents: a poster and an original rubber band bracelet that is different depending on each city.
Totsuka: These are precious gifts.
Tsukada: Look, that's how they look like! (He shows his arm with the 5 rubber bands he is wearing, each made of a different color) These are the ones I got in Sapporo though. I have all our colors. We are matching each other ♪
Totsuka: You are very innocent, you know? (laugh)

----------The show is about to start now. So before you go, please give us your feelings about the second half of the tour!
Kawai: The shows are probably a bit different from what we can do in Yoyogi but there are also things we can do only when being in smaller venues. We'd like people to also enjoy what we do in other cities. Let's do our best until the end, without getting hurt!
Totsuka & Tsukada & Goseki & Hashimoto: Ya~y!!
