Tonight's Christmas Eve and my gifts aren't ready at all~
Plus when I still was sleeping, I got a call from work so I'll have to go there today afternoon from 2pm to 9:30pm which means all my plans are ruined x)
I have to hurry so no time for a long introduction, here's my gift for Ebi fans!
I'm very sorry that it's been almost half a year since my last translation...I also wanted to release ABCZa MC that I've been asked to sub months ago but I didn't make it on time...Actually, I wasn't supposed to go to work so I could have had the time to finish working on it today but well...

When talking about Christmas, it's about memorable gifts.
This month, we asked A.B.C-Z to talk about gifts they would give to the other members, to their parents and to their fans.
TOTSUKA SHOTA
☆What would you give to the other members?
I'd give Fumito comedy DVDs so he can learn from them and improve his skills. Matsumoto Hitoshi's show Hitori gottsu for instance. I'd give Ryosuke personal effects. He always buy the same clothes, the same shoes as me, he always tries to copy me so I better give him those items in the first place (laugh) It's Christmas so I'll maybe give him a red cowboy jacket. I'd give Goseki a round-trip ticket. Hawai doesn't really fit him...So maybe Greece or Paris then...No, let's send him to Brazil so he can attend the Rio carnival! I'd give Tsuka-chan something specially developed by NASA so he can practice and will always be able to have an amazing muscled body.
☆What would you give to your parents?
Mom works standing up for long hours so I'd give her magic shoes so she won't feel tired anymore. I'd give dad ointment. He said "I want the orange ointment" before so I won't buy the wrong brand. Ointment, or maybe One piece DVDs. Since he records the episodes every week, if I buy him DVDs, he can watch it before everyone~. When I was younger, we had a recording system. I messed up the Dragon Ball recording dad asked me to do and he got really mad. (laugh)
☆What do you want from Santa this year?
I want a Santa qualification. It's probably because I'm getting older but lately, I realized that I prefer giving gifts more than receiving them. But if Santa really had to give me something (laugh), then I want magic dancing shoes so my feet will never feel tired, no matter how long I dance. I don't want shoes to improve my dancing skills. This is something that has to be done with my own body strength.
☆If you could organise a Christmas event, what would it be like?
What about inviting fans on a luxurious cruise ship and hold a Christmas party there? It would be a one week long event. First of all, we would enjoy the cruise. We'd be heading to the Mediteranean see and on Christmas day, we'd ask fans to come to the top deck where all presents would be pilled up like a mountain. They would pick the boxes and then, by the other side, there would be a stage and we would perform a A.B.C-Z Christmas live on the top desk of the boat.
☆ Looking back at 2012...
It was a year I kept on running all the time. We were on stage most of the time right? That's why I think we were always running. From now on, I'll continue to run, aiming to become my perfect self. If I don't keep on improving my running speed, maybe I'll disappear? The other day, I was reading the novel The Great Gatbsy and it was written "Tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther" and I think this sentence really fits the me I am today. I also met many wonderful books this year. I'll keep reading books in 2013~!
KAWAI FUMITO
☆What would you give to the other members?
Tottsu likes watching DVDs right? So something like a projector sounds good. I want to give him the opportunity to watch movies somewhere else than on his TV. For Goseki, it would be clothes. Because you know, this guy never goes shopping! (laugh) He always wears the same kind of clothes. That's why I want to buy him clothes. I'd change everything, both his normal clothes and his practice clothes. I want to buy him things he usually don't wear like leather jackets, fake glasses, because it may actually look good on him. Then, I'd give Tsuka-chan expensive meat. He loves meat but there are some types he can't eat often, like meat that looks so beautiful that it would almost be a waste to eat it. I want to give him this. And for Hasshi...I'm hesitating but maybe good speakers. Because I often watch him when he listens to music in the dressing room.
☆What would you give to your parents?
I give my parents birthday present every year but have I ever gave them Christmas presents? Mmh I can't remember. Well, if I had to give them something, it would be wine or champagne. Both mom and dad like it.
☆What do you want from Santa this year?
A villa. (laugh) I want one close to the sea or to the mountains. Actually, it's something I want when I'll be older. It would be impossible for me to have it this year unless I borrow Santa's power.
☆If you could organise a Christmas event, what would it be like?
Meeting our fans for Christmas and go together on a hot springs trip. There would be 5 buses, one for each member and his fans so we would be about 200~250. Once we arrive at the hot spring place, we'd hold a concert inside the banquet room. And we'd be wearing Japanese bathrobe of course. It doesn't sound Christmas-ish at all but we'd properly eat chicken. And since it would be a hot springs trip, we'd suddenly go take a bath all together! (laugh)
☆ Looking back at 2012...
I fulfilled my "Don't hurt yourself!" goal. But my tonsils were swollen twice to the point I had a fever of 40°C. My tonsils have always been weak but I thought it would get better when I grow up...A doctor told me "You're not young anymore so if you don't remove your tonsils, your body will be even weaker than when you were in your teens" so it made me sad for many reasons. If I get them removed, then my voice may change...And of course, as a vocalist, this is bad...Who was it? The person who said "Eh!?" when I said "vocalist"? Well it's true that I speak more than I sing...(laugh) So once again in 2012, I realized how important it is to take care of your body.
TSUKADA RYOICHI
☆What would you give to the other members?
I don't think he often goes have fun outside so I'd give Goseki-kun video games with the latest game console. I'd give Tottsu a machine to cheer him up while he is stretching. But this probably doesn't exists. (laugh) Tottsu is always the fatest one to get dressed and I know he is very careful so he takes care of his body but for some reason, it feel like his body is always stiff. That's why I thought maybe he could be more relaxed with a machine supporting him so his body won't be that tense anymore. The other day, it was Kawai's birthday so I gave him comedy DVDs...So I'll give him a portable player so he can watch them everywhere. He could bring it with him and he could also leave it in the dressing room. And what I want to give to Hasshi is...kindness. I always mess up everything and he gets mad at me so as a Christmas limited edition, I'd like to give him a "I'll listen to whatever you have to tell me" ticket.
What would you give to your parents?
I know it's impossible but I want to give my dad a car. Because he likes driving and his current car is already a very old one. And I'd give my mom a family trip to Hawai. Among Tsukada family members, I'm the only one who already went abroad so I'd give this to my mom and my sister who told me "We want to go to Hawai someday" before.
What do you want from Santa this year?
Meat! To prepare myself for Johnny's World, I tried not to eat meat much. That's why my body wants meat lately. For Christmas, as a reward, I want to eat steak and sukiyaki until I get full.
☆If you could organise a Christmas event, what would it be like?
The five of us cooking for our fans. I don't cook often so I can't guarantee it will taste good and I may be slow but I want to do my best! Using dangerous knifes, doing comedy skits, playing videos on screens all over the room, this could also be fun. If we can actually cook, the menu would be curry or pork juice. It's not Christmas-ish at all but...still sounds good, doesn't it?
☆ Looking back at 2012...
It was a year I tried many different things. We debuted and then we did our first stage on our ow ABCZa. But despite all this, I still think "There's still a long way to go". Because just after our debut, I messed up the choreography during our first Music Station live. I also caused trouble for everyone when I got hurt during Shounentachi. Many people were supporting us and yet I kept making mistakes. In 2013, I'll do things properly! (Now, someone go beat this boy for me please. >8[ )
GOSEKI KOICHI
☆ What would you give to the other members?
Kawai seems to like taking care of items in his bedroom so I'd give him a mood lamp or an air purifier. I first thought about giving Ryosuke a fashion related item but...nothing can beat what Tottsu, the one who understand his heart the best, will give him so I'd give him a hair iron instead. Because when we are getting ready in the dressing room, he always borrows mine. The most difficult one is Tottsu. It's very easy to know what kind of accessories or books he likes but he already have so many that you may end up giving him something he actually already has. So I'd better chose something unrelated to what he likes, something he wouldn't buy by himself such as delicious water. (Water!?) Same for Tsuka-chan, he likes things such as spats pants or proteinated food so most of the time, I know what will make him happy. But no matter how much he receives that, he'll still be happy right? So I'd give Tsuka-chan lots of proteinated food.
☆What would you give to your parents?
A hot springs trip sounds great doesn't it~? Whenever I have a day off, we often go together but this year, I think I'll be busy for Christmas so it would be only the two of them and I'd say "Go relax without thinking of me". Before they go, I'd chose a good place in a guide book.
☆What do you want from Santa this year?
Have a talk with him. Cute, isn't it? (laugh) Nobody ever did that before so being able to live this special experience would be great. There are 3 things I'd like to ask him. "Where do you live?", "Are you single?" and "How old are you?".
☆If you could organise a Christmas event, what would it be like?
An event during which we'd give signed photos while being dressed as Santa. We'd do a national tour starting from the North. If we go all around the country, we'll have to start very early. For the people living in Hokkaido where the first event would take place, they will need to be ready at 4am. (laugh)
☆Looking back at 2012...
The biggest happening was our debut. We never said it clearly but that's what we all wanted. But things haven't changed that much actually. We just had the opportunity to appear more during live programs. Ah~ Some things changed in the way relatives or people around me reacted. Some told me "Can I shake your hand?" and my cousin's child are nervous when they see me now. (laugh) But I don't take things for granted, I want to become what people are expecting us to become...Like they would turn on their TV and we'd be there, same for magazines, we want to do that!
HASHIMOTO RYOSUKE
☆What would you give to the other members?
I'd give Tottsu a record player. I want him to listen stylish jazz. Actually, I'm the one who wants this. (laugh) I'd give Fumito a red scarf. Is it ok if it's a hand-knitted one? Because when I was in my second elementary school year, my mom taught me how to knit. I'd give Gocchi a skull necklace. The skull would be as big as a mandarin and there would be 10 stones on it, you know the kind of necklace that looks like it could have magic powers. (laugh) I'd give Tsuka-chan western boots. I want him to wear them, go to Mexico and become a cowboy.
☆What would you give to your parents?
Can I say what I want them to give me instead? ...I can't? (laugh) I don't think I ever thought about what they like...Even if they know my tastes. Well, I'd give them delicious food then. They often go out but since it's for Christmas, I'd bring them to a restaurant where they could have a fashionable dinner. Before hand, I'd go ask Fumit where I can find a good restaurant since he nows many things~.
☆What do you want from Santa this year?
I want a lifelong free ticket to the land of dreams! No, if it's from Santa, then I prefer a ticket so I can go to all the land of dreams in the world whenever I want. I want to go to the one in California~. Then, if Santa have magic powers, I want to meet famous people who are dead and talk to them. Like Einstein or Newton. I want to prevent President Kennedy that he will be assassinated before it happens and I also want to meet Adam and Eve, mother and father of civilization. (serious face)
☆If you could organise a Christmas event, what would it be like?
I want to hold a 100 persons limited gift-giving ceremony. We would rent a gymnasium and ask everyone to line up in a circle with their eyes hidden. Then, a song would start and everyone would start walking. When the music stops, if you are in front of the gift put there by a member, you get it! So there would be only 5 winners. But we would do something for the 95 other persons. We'd appear wearing Santa costumes and say "We are everyone's presents!" and then we would sing the song All I want for Christmas is you by Mariah Carey. I really love this song. When I hear it in the streets, it makes me think "Christmas is coming~!" and I get very excited ♪
☆Looking back at 2012...
It was a turning-point year. We debuted and up until then, we never thought "We have to properly do our best" as much as we did this year. Speaking only about myself, I still don't feel like I have fulfilled this resolution so I want to keep growing in order to fulfill it. That's why I want to do my best even more in 2013. I want to improve my speaking skills...If it's lively places, I's ok but when I'm in more formal places, I'm very nervous thinking "I must be careful to use proper words...!" (laugh)
