Brother's Journey
When Takaki and Chinen arrived in France for the first time, they decided to head for the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower so they stepped out of Charles de Gaulle airport and Chinen said that actually, he was expecting these two huge monuments to be right there. Here's a photo (not mine) taken from the top of the Arc de Triomphe: obviously no place for an airport.
When Takaki and Chinen arrived in Pontorson the next day to visit the Mont Saint Michel which is a place surrounded by the sea, once again Chinen said that he thought it would be right outside the station.
Sorry guys, I know it would be awesome if we could easily Hey! Say! jump from a place to another but we live in a normal country, which means we have to take the bus, the train, the car and sometimes we even have to walk when we want to go somewhere ^_^;)>
I went to the Mont Saint Michel once but it was probably more than 10 years ago so I barely remember about it and watching them really made me want to go there now that I'm older and more able to appreciate this kind of visit.
How lucky they were to have such a good weather. They must have spent a lovely day ♥
I really like this new Johnny's Journey series a lot, first because they are in France and I love Takaki's French accent but also because the two of them are so adorable together! I'm glad they were the ones who came to France, I would have never enjoyed the show that much if it would have been someone like Kitayama instead.
Speaking about him, I loved when Yabu said at the end that Kitayama got "angry" when he heared that Chinen and Takaki went to France whereas he had such a tough India trip xD
Funny note to end this post: seems like someone was in a hurry when he typed the subtitles. I know what a "chevalier" is. But a "chwvalier"...?
