Japan trip 2012 - day 10 ~ Jingu Gaien Hanabi Taikai at Kokuritsu Kyôgijô

Aug 13, 2012 23:15

The weather forecast had predicted rain all week long and it was indeed less hot than usual (still very hot though...) but fortunately for us, it rained only once last Monday so the weather was good when we headed to the Kokuritsu for the Jingu Gaien Hanabi Taikai.

When we arrived in front of the stadium, we were immediatly surrounded by Sexy Zone fans. You could easily recognize them by their clothes, their hand-made bags, their goods, the rose they were holding,...I wasn't expecting them to be that numerous and they all looked very young!

We didn't have to wait long to enter the stadium and our seats were pretty far from the main stage so we couldn't really recognize Junior who were there but we still had a lot of fun and at least, we could see the fireworks very well.

Sexy Zone were the first and all the girls we saw earlier got SO excited! They were screaming everytime Kento's face appeared on the screen and we even saw a girl who was looking at the screen through her binoculars. She cried at the end of the concert and her friend seemed to be a bit embarassed x)
The boys were wearing their new Santa Claus clothes, they stayed on stage during about 30 minutes and they sang their new song Sexy Summer ni yuki ga furu that I already love even if I still laugh every time I hear them singing "Hello hello and Merry Christmas ♪" and when they went through the audience, it was probably too windy so the poor Sô could barely stand on his cart while waving at us xD

I don't have much to say about Tackey's part (I have more interesting things to write about this guy...), it was very cool, we had a lot of fun and actually, we were the only one to dance since the girls in front of us seemed to be there only to eat and drink, there was nobody behind us and on our right side and the couple on my left side came only to take photos during the firework xD

Matchy part was also very good especially when he sang Yuuyake no uta. It was dark, people were all waving their penlights, it was very beautiful ♥
During his MC, Yoshio Nomura came on stage and they were about to sing his debut single Sneaker Blues when Matchy said that Sexy Zone fans could sit down because they were probably too young to know the song, Tackey fans probably knew it so it was ok for them and his own fans could also sit down because they were probably too old and tired already xD

Fireworks were awesome.
I don't understand why but Japanese fireworks are REALLY different. They are brighter, more colorful, they have shapes I have never seen before and people reactions are amazing ♥
Instead of one 1 hour long firework, we had many short fireworks, each introduced by a Jingu Gaien Hanabi sponsor and sister and I kept saying stupid things, for example during the Sukiya (a Japanese restaurant chain) firework, we were like "Oh!! It indeed looks like ramen!!"

...Anyway.

So yeah, all parts were introduced by sponsors except the first one that was introduced by Sexy Zone, Tackey and Matchy (Don't know if they really had something to do with that or no though...) and my favorite was the final part during which the band played Sexy Zone, Venus (If I'm not mistaken...) and Sneaker Blues, it looked very very good ♥

Once the fireworks were over, they all came back on stage (except Mari and Sô unfortunately...) and I wasn't expecting an after foreworks concert at all so I got all happy and excited once again 8D
Photos were allowed during the fireworks but there were many people taking some during the after show and staff members didn't say anything so I decided to also take a blurry one (since my camera sucks at taking photo when it's dark outside) when the boys left the stage...

Seriously, I will be so depressed next time I'll go to see fireworks in France.

I'll miss my yukata even if it took us hours to find how to properly wear it and even if my feet were dead at the end of the day since the shoes we had weren't comfortable at all and we walked a lot with them.

I'll miss eating very expensive but delicious yakisoba and shaved ice inside the Kokuritsu.

And I'll miss Sexy Zone, Tack' and Matchy ♥
