How I missed running in my 8 cm heels to catch my train ♥
And I'm not even being sarcastic.
...Or maybe just a little because it indeed would be better if we could have a train schedule that doesn't suck like the one we have now so we could just walk instead of running like crazy. But, I haven't been out of the house in a while except for voting twice and when I go jogging and I enjoy taking the train so I'm not really complaining actually :3
I went to Paris for my last "Let's find money for August 2012!" job interview.
By chance, it was really close to the Japanese quarter so I got off the train where I usually get off and then had a ~15 min refreshing walk to get to the building I was supposed to go to.
I love this quarter and I love it even more when the weather is good like it was today.
But I should have checked the weather forecast before because it was actually really hot, 20°C when I left home and almost 30°C when I was back and I was wearing a navy blue wool dress, black tights, a grey jacket and low boots (^_^;)>
I wasn't expecting the building to be that huge and I was very impressed by the entrance hall.
Unfortunately, I wasn't there for the architecture so I took the elevator and got to the 4th floor.
We were maybe 10 persons, only one guy and we didn't know it would be a group interview.
They had prepared some exercises so even if we didn't know each other, we had to work all together and the most difficult was to not be too shy or too bossy.
For the first exercise, they gave us bags of clothes and we had 15 minutes to create a shop, using everything we wanted to use in the room and second exercise was for them to know how we were able to deal with an angry customer.
Then we talked a lot, it was very interesting and funny so even if I have the feeling I messed up my individual interview, it was a good experience.
I wanted to hang out a little when it was over but after 2 hours, I was too tired and it was way too hot so time to go back home~
