Has it always been like this?
Has engagement always been such a minor deal?
I mean it seems now-a-days, it's the cool thing to do. First it was this ugly girl from High School that started giving this feeling to me...she started dating this guy and then all of a sudden their engaged. Sure they're both ugly so I guess it works, but still...
Then a friend of a friend is engaged to someone she just started dating, and now this girl on the VAA who just started dating the guy.
I don't understand why these 'kids' think they're mature enough to make the choice of who they're gonna be spending their lives with. 16 year olds getting engaged seems really wrong....and...ugh.
