I am sitting here on the day before classes start and I think about times of old. Where I used to spend the night before school starts making a collage to put on my binder for the year. Sadly it is impractical for me to still be using a binder, so I don't do that anymore. However I started to remember my love for making collages and my old bedroom, that was covered in them. I thought I had no pictures...but I find that I do! And thus I am sharing!

I wish these pictures were bigger, alas beggars can't be choosers. It's hard to tell but that strip of pictures is actually one giant collage to cover the stupid french cartoon sailor dog things that I hated. Some parts of it were really detailed. Took me months to get it all done.

This was my computer area, I barely left it. My old bedroom was really tiny, so I could wheel my chair to my bed. I also had a giant TV right next to it. (I inherited the TV in my and my dad's living room when we moved in with my Stepmom, so I have a living room size tv for my bedroom, it was awesome). If you can make it out, even my Light Switch cover had collage on it.

Muppet show! Also that green and purple FMA logo was the one I drew, Used it as a stencil for my Edward cosplay.

This was on my door. I don't know why I didn't get a picture of it, but below this was a big collage of stuff (mostly big pictures that didn't really fit anywhere else)

more door, I thought I was awesome by making the word Otaku out of pictures lol...

Sideways pic is sideways...sorry ^.^;; Anyway, That Saiyuki poster is signed and I love it so! Also when my room was 'finished' My entire closet door was covered in pics, I started on this door and finished half of the other when I took these, don't have any from when the closet was finished *sad*

See the closet, it was awesome, I loved it! Anyway, that is my signed Scythe (by Scott McNiel!) And a few of my anime figures, in the years since this pic I have gained many more. Also...my anime dvds...*love*

Better view of closet...on the floor is two years worth of Shonen Jump that I cut up (dad was making me get rid of them :( ) and that bin you see? Thats all the pics I still had. Dad agreed to keep buying me printer ink, cause it was still cheaper than paying to remove the wallpaper/crappy sailor dog boarder and repaint the room. I printed out a TON! (I still have a lot of those pics, I tossed a bunch when I moved to college)

Aww it is cute how teeny my collection was lol. Anyway that garbage bag is my scraps lol. This pic serves no purpose....

My bed! I had dragon sheets, they were awesome. And I slept with a Kyo plushie ^.^ I did up until I moved in with Mike. (also on the night stant, you can see a bunch of bracelets and necklaces, I wore those everyday. I was blinged out! I loved it!)

Better view above my bed. Over the years the FMA poster moved, replaced by two Naruto posters (one of Sasuke and Naruto and one of Yondaime because I LOVE Yondaime ^.^)

Next to my bed. I had a Gundam Wing wall scroll. It used to be Mike's but when I started watching Gundam Wing, he gave it to me. This solidifyed him as the best boyfriend ever in my opinion ^.^ Also it is hard to see, but that whole black and white section is my dedication to Hot Gimmick. I loved that manga and most of those pics are Ryoki

Pile of plushies, also those binders? All full of fanfic (it was a bad idea for my father to let me keep a printer in my bedroom ^.^;;;)

This was my poster wall! (That pic of Edward dancing? Mike drew it for me as a sign for my birthday party, there are dancing carrots on it too, I forgot why though lol...) You can also see my TV, and get an idea of how tiny my room was.

Annnd bookshelf....You see my manga and then my regular books. By now each section has doubled in sized. (I have close to 400 manga now, and a full shelf and a half of books... ^.^;;)

Well there you have it, this was my bedroom for four years. It killed me to take all of this down when I left for college. This was my sanctuary and I do miss it terribly. I love living with Mike, I really do, but man this room was just small, cramped, completely juvenile but most of all completely mine and I do sometimes wish I could have it back.

Small story about how tiny it was: The TV was right by the bed, all I could really fit between the two was my computer chair and some leg room. So when Kingdom Hearts 2 came out, I played it while sitting in my computer chair, meaning I was right by the TV. I played it four days straight, with pretty much no sleep. My eyes were completely bloodshot. Before this I had perfect 20/20 vision, but after this little fiasco, I started having trouble seeing the boards at school. Sure enough I needed glasses for severe eye strain, and now my eyes are permanently screwed. So let that be a lesson kiddies, don't sit too close to the TV and play video games in the dark for four days straight....
