If you can read this, Kyouju and I have successfully stabilized the backup generator. Power should be restored to the main two cabin decks by now. We are still working on other floors and Kyouju is trying to reestablish ties to the outside world. Communications via the ship are currently going haywire.
For the unaware, the power shut down at 2109 PM. We believe an electrical storm caused it. Resulting waves have pushed us into a thick sandbar approximately half a kilometer from an island.
On the same subject, if you choose to leave your rooms, I would like you to note that the boat is now tilted to a 23.4 degree angle, starboard side. Coincidentally, that is the same tilt as the Earth's axis.
The storm has passed, but there is a 68% chance of residual weather issues within the next 24 hours.
