To all citizens of the Empire:

June 6, 2014 is marked as the the 70th anniversary of the WWII Normandy D-Day invasion that took place on June 6, 1944. It was the turning point in WWII, when the Allied forces landed on Nazi occupied France & retook the free world from the mad grasp of Adolph Hitler and the Nazis. On that fateful day, 160,000 Allied troops landed along the Normandy coast of France, and it was the largest invasion force in history.

Within a year of the D-Day invasion, the Allies reached the heart of Germany, and Adolph Hitler committed suicide when the Russians were within a block of his underground bunker.

Had the Allies failed on D-Day, history would have been changed and Adolph Hitler's mad dream of world domination and his insane ideas of racial "purity" and genocide would have become a reality.

On D-Day, the 6th of June, 1944, more than a million Allied troops (United States, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Free French Forces, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Greece, the Netherlands, Norway and Poland) were involved in the landing on 4 key beaches (Omaha, Utah, Juno, and Sword) in Normandy, France. (The D-Day Operation ended on June 30, 1944.)

Various world leaders also gathered on June 6, 2014 in Normandy, France to honor the 70th anniversary of the D-Day invasion.
