The Hunger Games Meme [No. 1-3]
Day 1: Your favorite character:
With confidence I can claim Finnick Odair as my favourite character. Oh God! Finnick <3 The way he oozes with confidence and yet is just a scared boy who desperately wants to be left alone, stay home and live in the company of his family (including Annie) peacefully without being demanded upon. I also love how absolutely broken and shattered he is and yet, he keeps going! Part of me adores him so much because there was a time in my life where I was fairly broken too. Collins managed to write a character that was so ideal and relatable that is was hard not to fall for that charm of his.
Day 2: Your least favorite character:
There are a lot of characters that fit in this section, but overall Enobaria is just someone I never really grew to like. Being able to keep her life by the end of the series just seemed so pointless to me. Maybe the movie will shed more light on her for us and maybe at that point I'll be able to come up with something more meaningful. But right now, she existence will be pointless until proven otherwise.
Day 3: A character you hate that everyone loves:
I don't know how much everyone truly adores Katniss. Maybe more people are impartial to her seeing as how she had three books written through her eyes. Then again, hate is a strong word. I strongly dislike Katniss Everdeen though. I wasn't all caught up in her heroic, genuine acts of braver. When she volunteered for her sister, Rue, Mags, Eight, Two. I mean, it was wonderful and all that she did it - but I don't know. They just seemed so over the top for me. That was the point though, with such heart-wrenching acts it won over romantic saps and it saved the girls life. It just never really did anything for me. Katniss spent so much time whining, wanting to die and being helpless that the things that she did to redeem herself didn't work on me.
