Update:
I have almost finished my study goal for the 2007 clinical year (which ends this week). Read all the questions and answers for the MKSAP 14 books. It's roughly about 1000 questions. I feel proud that I achieved my goal.
I am going to be a medical registrar next week. It's a bit scary. Upgrade in responsibility and all that. Half my friends from medical school are already registrars. I've gotta take this step sometime and I think I'm as ready as most people are when they take it.
I went to Target yesterday and they had a sale. There were clothes that fit me and weren't expensive and didn't look horrible. I was so happy. I think when I start in Balmain hospital next week I won't look like a total vagabond. Hurrah!
The year ahead looks good. I will endeavour to work hard and be a good doctor. I need to also try to be a good wife, sister, aunt, daughter, grand-niece, friend and soon enough - mother. Intentions are good, I hope actions will be too.
