[accidental voice post]
[sounds of soft humming and whisking, baking going on in the background. the humming stops after a little bit, and the sounds of a bowl being put down is heard]
Don't say that.
[the bowl is picked up again, and Hinamori moves about the kitchen working on the
taiyaki she promised to make. her voice is soft, but the other speaker can't be heard]
Because it's not like that. You don't understand.
...I know you've been with me for ages. But I'm not afraid, so don't say that.
[a clatter of utensils onto the counter top, and the faint echo of shunpo used to cross the room]
Tobiume, just- I know. It'll be fine, because I've at least got you. So don't be moody about it; I'm not going to just give you away or something equally stupid. I haven't even gone, have I?
[sound of a sword being picked up and footsteps this time, the sword getting put on the counter as she resumes the cooking. the next words are whispered]
We're a pair, aren't we? Come on, I want to surprise Abarai-kun with these, lets finish up.
[the humming resumes, a softer, slower song this time, and there's a clatter of utensils on the counter again even though she's moved across the room. a contented sound sits over the melody for a second, and Hinamori stops humming to giggle]
You like that song better, I take it? Alright, alright! There's no need to go that far to get me to sing it, you can go back now.
[she starts humming again, waiting a moment before taking a breath to put the words to the tune; which is where the transmission cuts out]
