Red tide
Monday mornings are always the hardest to get out of bed. Boo. This weekend was fun. A nice vacation from the massive amount of stress from the previous work week.
Went shopping with Patty before Battlestar Galactica on friday. Went to D&B with Patty, Jeff, P.J., and Sara on Saturday after the meeting. Patty and I were pros at the claw machines. I won a stuffed animal for everyone (except Patty because she already had 2 for herself). Lots of games, lots of venting stress. I just had all of the tickets I won put back on my card so I don't have to spend any money next time I go..which will be in the not so distant future I hope. The intention was to go to Hong Kong Mall afterwards so we could get the fruit tea they have at Teahouse, but the place was immensely packed. There was some event or festival going on causing the parking lot to be impossible to move in. Someone nearly backed into us trying to turn around to leave. We decided to just skip the tea and get food...elsewhere. Extremely fickle changed my mind like twice before finally settling on a restaurant, but not before stopping by Welcome to pick up passion fruit Hi-Chew. MMmmmmm, I heart passion fruit. We went to Sinh Sinh, which was really cool and really tasty, but I wasn't entirely hungry and I was feeling extremely ackward at being treated differently than all of the other customers there. So I was pretty much quiet and agreeable throughout dinner. But the shrimp and walnuts were sooooo good!!!
Yesterday was a very fun and relaxing day spent doing pretty much nothing at all. I laid around watching movies and ate hot wings. I went to the store and bought passion fruit juice. Yum! Sometimes my favorite days are those just spent by myself doing relatively nothing at all.
The storm/hurricane predicted to hit this Friday has me a bit nervous. I keep hoping it'll magically disappear or detour drastically.
