I enjoyed Run Fatboy Run, but you have to be in a romantic comedy mood, which I almost never am. It's not their best movie, certainly, but it has its moments. I do think the wrong mood can kill a movie, honestly, like I somehow hated The Departed the first time I saw it. Idek.

First and foremost, happy half-an-hour-belated birthday! Quarter of a century next year, right? :DDDDD

And second, I gave this movie another go, and it wasn't as horrible as I remember, and I got through it. It's definitely not any of their best work, but it's not completely awful. I thought a good deal of the comedy was extremely unsubtle, which was disappointing, considering that's one of the things I enjoy most about the Simon Pegg/Edgar Wright partnerships, and I love Michael Ian Black (although I guess his stuff does tend to be blatantly silly), buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut whatever. I'm glad I watched it the whole way through, if only for Dylan Moran, who basically plays a toned-down version of his character in Black Books. Also Simon Pegg and Dylan Moran getting in a slap fight was pretty classic.
