At his mothers Okonomiyaki shop (6:49 pm) - November 21st, Monday

The good thing about Mondays was that Haitani didn't have to stay after for anything. He did the usual clean up duties before he was free to go. He took the thirty minute ride home that he was becoming accustomed too and got off at his stop. He was going to head straight home when his phone went off, it was pretty rare for him to get a call so he wasn't all that surprised it was a text from his mom. She wanted him to stop by they shop and help out as her lover Suzumi was sick so she would need help.

Haitani couldn't say no, it was his mother, so when he passed the shop on his way home he quickly went in. Luckily he was used to being called out so he did have a pair of casual clothes tucked away there so he could change out his he school clothes. It wasn't too busy seeing as it was a Monday night but a few families stopped by and occasionally a group of people on a dinner business meeting. Haitani had no problem waiting tables with plenty of free time to talk with a few of his mom's employees.

Every once in awhile his mom would jab him getting his attention only to point out a girl or two and commenting on how nice they looked. He knew that most kids probably had to deal with the embarrassment of their parents interfering in their love life but Haitani couldn't help but feel weird in these situations. His mom was in fact a lesbian so when she pointed out a feature on a girl he had to deal with the fact that she herself was looking the poor girl up and down enjoying her for herself.

Haitani tried to avoid his mother as much as possible for the rest of the night as he continued to wait on his tables. Try as he might every time a girl walked in he might his mother's gleaming eyes.
