Poor kitty :( How would you like it if someone lit YOU on fire to get rid of a little B.O.? This sicko deserves to be behind bars!
On that note...
I got my kitty back!
Her name is Ginger and she's gorgeous! I got her almost three years ago from a girl I worked with who had rescued her injured body from the street. She had a broken hip when I first got her, but I gave her medicine three times a day and nursed her back to perfect health! When I moved away from home, she stayed at my mom's house, met a good-looking hunk, and had his babies. She looks great for being a mother. She has maintained her slender figure and is active and spunky enough to keep up with her kids.
Yesterday my mom gave Ginger back to me. I immediately went out and bought her a bunch of spoiled kitty stuff, including a hot pink, diamon-encrusted collar with a bell (okay, so they're not real diamonds, but I can pretend). She loves it when I brush her with her little kitty brush and she's already adapting quite well to her new home. She figured out how to get on the bathroom counter and she has discovered that if she gets on her hind legs at the end of the bed, she can look out the window and see outside!!! (She was really excited about that one.) As soon as I get pictures of my beautiful blue-eyed baby I will post them up for all to see! (I can't take pictures of her now because I need more batteries for my digital camera.)
As you all know, at only three days away, the big event is almost here!! So grab your party hats and get ready to do the conga!!!
DETAILS:
My b-day party will be held this Saturday, April 10th at 2:00pm at the park in Middleton. Not the one on main street (if you can really call that a park), but the one where Drew and Ben play basketball. (Call me for directions. If you don't know my phone number...well, then I guess YOU'RE SCREWED.)
Larry Gebert told me Saturday is supposed to be sunny and warm, so it better be!! However, if nasty weather does occur, my party will be held....somewhere else!! (I'll get back to ya on that.)
Y'all don't worry about bringing gifts. Seriously. Just you being there is enough of a gift!! :*) *Sappy violin music* Really, though, I just don't care about gifts because I can't even think of anything I really want! I'm so low-maintenance; Ben is a lucky guy!
If you're feeling guilty about not bringing a gift (even though you shouldn't), you can bring a snack to share or a game you like that we all can enjoy playing together. But all you need to bring is yourself and your warm, friendly smile. :)
The party will be nothing special. It will basically consist of snacking, talking, and playing board games. BUT IT WILL STILL BE A BLAST!!! You can even play on the monkeybars if you want!!!
Hope to see all you beautiful people there!
