It was a good day.

Well, today was a good day. It started off nice and late, since I slept in until about 11:30.

At about 1:00 Ben and I decided to go out to super-cheap Chinese buffet (only $3.95, and that includes a drink). Yeah, I know. What a bargain! I love that place. :)

Then we went over to the mall. We are cheapskates so we never actually go to the mall, (we usually go to Wal-mart, Ross, or maybe Shopko for all of our shopping needs). However, today we decided to go because I got $55 in mall certificates from my work as part of our meeting-the-goal-for-the-month thing. :)

So, now the big question was wear to spend the $55? Shouldn't be hard, but we have amazing tendencies to make the easiest of things difficult. :)

We ended up wandering in and out of a shoe store, a clothes store, a sports store, a video game store, and a book store, and still we hadn't found anything we really wanted to get. Then we noticed a big bankruptcy sale (don't they usually just say "we're going out of business, everything needs to be sold," instead of, "we're going bankrupt!"??) Yeah, I found that odd...but anyway, the store was Call Jewlers, and I noticed that everything in there was 60-75% off!! Then a little light bulb went off in my head: it's about time my husband gets a wedding ring!! (Yeah, we're slow, he still didn't have one!!!)

This was perfect, since we had been wanting to get him a wedding ring for a good ten months now, but we're poor/cheap and didn't want to spend too much. Well, Ben found one that we both really liked that was originally priced at $295, but had been marked down because of the sale to just $118! I know that's cheap for a wedding ring. :( But oh well, it's nice and we like it. Plus, because of our mall certificates, we only ended up spending $75 of our own money. Awesome. Now Ben has a wedding ring and I'm just thrilled. :)

Then at 5pm we went to Roaring Springs for the company party my sister had w/her work. Unfortunately, it was only about 70-75 degrees outside all evening, so standing in line for a waterslide while still wet was not much fun. Can't really complain though, because Roaring Springs is a pretty fun waterpark, and we got in for free because of my sis! Thanks, Meagan. :) Oh yeah, and while at Roaring Springs I went on.....The AVALANCHE!!! It was sooo scary, but sooo fun!!! It makes you all nervous when you go because your falling backwards, it's super high, and the workers are giving you last-minute instructions: keep your butt up, and your chin by your chest. And then....AAAHHHH!!! You can't help but scream!!! It was funny watching my sister on the Avalanche because she looked like she was going to die! Her face was filled with sheer terror and she screamed louder than anyone!! Hahaha....I obviously enjoyed the ride though, since I braved the increasingly cold weather by standing in line to go on it again!

At about 9:00 or so we left Roaring Springs to go to JB's for some dinner. It was cool hanging out with my family...gosh, I don't get to see them enough. My heart melted when my adorable three-year-old niece, Cassidi, said to me out of nowhere, "I love you, Tiffany." Ohhh....it was sooo sweet!!! :) :) :)

Well, after eating at JB's I came back home. Then got on the internet. Now I'm going to bed. :) Goodnight.
