Last night I had my husband sit in the barber chair for a haircut. After caping him, I used a #6 guard all around, with a #2 guard on the sides. As I tried to blend the two sides with a #4 guard, I thought that I should have paid more attention when the barbers were fading hair!
His hair turned out nicely. Of course, no guard was used around his ears and nape. The blade used was the #000000. :)
This morning my son surprised me by asking for a haircut. He's getting better at having his hair cut. He used to squirm all through it and ask often, "Am I done now?" I think he only asked me that once this morning. :) He's eager to show off his new look to his classmates tomorrow.
Speaking of kid's hair, I remember long ago when my son was a baby, he had craddle cap. I would research on the internet, trying to find remedies on how to get rid of the craddle cap. Nothing worked well. Today, with my son's new haircut, I could see that he had a bit left. So I tried one of my facial cleansers...and it worked! :) It's St. Ives Apricot Scrub. But I think any type of scrub with those little beads will work well. :)
