haircut

Last night my hubby told me, "I need you to shave me bald."  He took a seat in my barber chair and waited patiently while I chose a cape - a hunter green nylon one.  I tightened it around his neck and attached a cape clip.  I ran my fingers through his hair, a length over 2", grabbed by Oster Lite 76 clippers with the 000000 blade, flicked them on, and clippered his hair nearly down to the scalp.  His dark hair falling in clumps onto floor, his bare feet, and gliding off the slick cape.

During the shearing I laughed and told him that my clients get a better treatment, and that their haircuts last a lot longer.  (My hubby prefers his hair cut being done as quick as possible).   But I told him that I would give him a proper head & face shave with the straight-edge razor tomorrow as I was in the sun too long earlier, and with my head throbbing, I didn't trust myself with the razor.

Today is a new day.  And I plan on shaving him while topless after he wakes up.  :)

While waiting, I'm capturing the rest of the variocurler footage.  After this tape, I have one more to do.  This video is going to be a lot of fun to edit.  I'm wearing one of my favorite blouses -- it looks like it was made from a pinstripe barber cape, and my hair is wild with colors and size!  Looking through the footage last night, there was a part were Carmen removed the hair clamp from my hair, and when my hair came falling down, I said that I looked like Sideshow Bob from The Simpsons.  My hubby agreed.  :D   (My hair was in an afro perm, and had been brushed out the night before).

Oh, totally different topic!  My hair is currently about 3/4 of an inch long.  I may start growing it so I can get a flat top in a couple of months.
